Was Ronaldo's free kick really that good? To me it was just one of those ones that should be cleared before it gets to the 6 yard box, but no one bothers to go for it.

Unfuckingbelieveable comment that was...2 games in, a half decent shot that hit the post and he thinks thats the goal of the comp over with. Fucking wanker.

"The keeper could do nothing about it" he said.
Apart from save it you thick c**t.

Tuncay has been poor so far...I blame Nihat for tackling him, Turks are so dirty they foul their own.

It's Ronaldo's free kick, which means that it's 3x better than if any other player (Ronaldinho, Beckham aside) had taken it.

I think the keeper made it look good by horrible positioning.

Any remotely competent keeper would have been properly placed to get more than a fingertip to that

Anyway it now ensures we get a tournament of ronaldo hitting those daisy cutters

FFS "Review Ronaldo's performance" How about reviewing the bloody game? It's bad enough listening to Tyldsley talking as if he wants to knock one out over the posing Portugese twat for the 1st 45 minutes without it being a bloody Ronaldo love in at half time as well.

Jesus, I know the coaches don't have a lot of time with the players, but not one team playing today is doing it together or shows any routine at all.

Now to decide if I'll watch the second half.... Neutral

On German TV, the had a computer simulation of the offside goal scored by Pepe. It looks like it was not offside. It was a very close decision at least.

always been Portugal's problem: lots of great attacking mids, but average strikers. Nuno Gomes is a waste of space. Move Ronaldo up front & bring in Quaresma for Nuno Gomes.
