I think Gallas and Makelele have been the catalyst for EPL success in the past two season and without them we've seen whats happened so far.

Just shows that Chelsea don't give a fuck about their players. They're being right little whiny cunts, and i used to like chelsea (guess it's being a Bolton fan, Chelsea are hereditary allies), but this is just taking the michael.

If Mutu had admitted he had a problem then maybe the club would have helped him. The club questioned him about this on numerous occasions, only for him to assure the management he was not on coke.
It wasn't his only offence btw. He had been caught on camera with a prostitute and arrested for boy-racing whilst on internatinal duty.

Didn't know this. Well forget about the Mutu incident, but anyway Chelsea have just made themselves a little bit more hated by the entire premiership, and Gallas a little more loved;

Gallas, a few years back, was offered a joke deal, bacause the club thought the wouldn't mind being paid less than Carvalho. NOW (note this word, indicating the present), Chelsea have offered better terms to stop him leaving, (the 90 000 pounds you spoke off), but Gallas feels that the club thought he was an idiot and wants to leave (and to be honest, so would I).
FF mate. I have said to you before. Fair enough, if Gallas was annoyed at the fact we supposedly offered him a joke deal (I haven't heard of it though - I'd like to know where you read it), however, if so, the fact that we then offer him a "double your money" contract - whereby he would be the joint top earning defender at the club, clearly indicates how highly we think of him. If he believes he wasn't wanted by the club (after hearing all the pleas from the fans, and having the manager tell him to "see out his contract) then he is a blind fool imo.
I'll make this a bit more clear...
For example, I'm not on the highest wage at my work OK? However, I work just as long and just as hard as everybody else, so, for example, say my boss said to me "We're going to up your wages just that little bit more" and I said to them "No, I want to earn the top wage" and then a few months later they come back to me and say "OK, you can earn the top wage", I wouldn't then start saying "Oh no, I want to leave because I don't feel loved at the company now!". However, if my boss said "That's fine, you can go, but you must see out the final year on your contract, or you won't get compensation", I'd abide by that.
My point is, Gallas can't possibly say he wasn't 'loved', or that the club didn't offer him enough money, as both these points have already turned out to prove we were doing our all to keep him at the club.

I've read the joke deal thing in every Gallas interview for L'équipe for the past year and a half.
The way Gallas sees it is that Chelse aoffer him this expecting him to sign; He refuses to so now they see he could leave and actually recognise his worth. They have to offer him a better deal, but would not have done it of their own accord.

Any player who screws Chelsea over gets near hero-worship in some places. But people just reckon Chelsea are sputing crap and take the side of the player.

You don't think around £60,000 a week is enough then? (He was on £50k on his previous contract)

Re: Gallas Threat
Hmm I'm not sure. Both we and Willie have made "allegations". We have said Willie threatened to score an own goal if he played (which I wouldn't put past him. He seems to like to tell Mourinho what he wants to do and when - which is why maybe Mourinho didn't supposedly offer him a "high" enough wage in the first place)theflyingfrenchman wrote:S4P wrote:theflyingfrenchman wrote:and Gallas a little more loved;

Gallas has said we offered him a sh't deal (never been proven. Just his word against ours) and said he didn't feel loved (this is ridiculous)

At least Ashley Cole made it clear he was available for selection by Arsenal. As I said earlier people who have signed a legally binding contract on £50k a week who bitch about not earning enough money and refuse to play or turn up to fan events don't deserve an ounce of respect.

I certainly wouldn't sulk and feel unloved if somebody offered a supposedly 'shit contract' which was £60,000 a week.
In fact, I wouldn't mind £60,000 a year.

And you would minbd being paid 60k a week if your colleague was spending all his time on a stupid football forum, and was still getting paid more than you.
Would you say Makélélé was wrong to do what he did to Madrid?

I believe Real Madrid offered Makelele £25,000 a week. There's a bit of a difference between £25,000 and £60,000.
That said, a) Maka's contract had run out (whereas Gallas still had a year left)
and also, Maka hadn't made any threats to the club, nor did he try and be the boss.

Maka stopped going to training, and you had to fork out 13 million for him, ie he wasn't at the end of his contract. Remind you of anything?

Not really. I think when a player signs a contract up until a certain date, they should be expected to see it out.
@ FF
OK mate, Maka was an idiot if he stopped going to training (let us not forget Gallas turned up late too, saying he was still on holiday and would be back soon ), but there is a difference between being offered £25,000 a week, whilst others are on £100,000 a week, and being offered £60,000 a week (initially, later £90k a week) whilst others are on £90,000 a week.
As you clearly appear to believe this too, surely there is no way possible of defending Gallas (I'll just remind everyone that I have said Chelsea have been foolish in this whole Gallas saga too, but no way can anyone say Gallas is the innocent party)
