For the two group games he pretty much did everything you could expect.
Against Germany he wasn't fantastic but still inadvertantly set up a goal.
Its MILES better than anything Toni, or indeed all of the Italian squad bar Buffon, achieved.

Iniesta has been one of Spain's worst players.
He was almost as bad as torres for fucking up in the box yesterday. Twice he was put through, twice he miscontrolled! He had that air shot as well.

Thought Iniesta was good yesterday same should be said of the Spanish midfield. He was making some good runs and intelligent passes, any chance he gets if he finds himself in the box and takes it should be a bonus, he is looking to create first. He seems to be playing like a withdrawn winger, not necessarily raiding the flanks and crossing the ball in, but cutting inside and passing to feet still he will cross if possible, also switching with Silva which has been a success so far. As we all know he’s a versatile and intelligent player. I don’t think we should judge him solely on his finishing.
