I think it increases our chances of fisnhing 4th, but that's it.

Re: The Great Arshavin Thread
Not sure if he is going to make any difference at all.
It will take him to time to get used to his team-mates, especially to get involved with the slick passing. He's played for zenit his whole career so not sure how he will be in a new team, adapting to a new league at his age and so on.

he'll flop. Not as bad as if he'd gone there last summer, but that's only because the expectations are lower.

They'll get 3rd or 4th, depending on if Scolari can rejuvenate his Chelsea players. Class player though, Arshavin is...will definitely be watching lots of Arsenal games now, at least whenever he plays.

He's not that temperamental.
He may be one footed but when your left foot has been touched by God then that really doesn't matter much.
In comparison to RVP's left foot, the majority of footballers are nil footed.

I'm not an expert on how gays run. I'm relatively sure that Zizoued has probably spent most of his life chasing fudge packers though so he's undoubtedly an expert

Phil Brown said that didn't happen because of the wages Panucci was demanding, and because several agents had gotten involved and wanted cuts.

Anyone who's watched him in the past few years will be perfectly well aware of how much his right foot has improved. It may not achieve the divine levels of his left but any right-footer would have been proud of his first finish against Chelsea recently and his finish against Liverpool.
Honestly, some people on this board just embarrass themselves

According to that article (which quotes the Zenit official site) the fee was 15m up front from Arsenal, then another 1.5m which was that loyalty bonus which everyone was arguing about (so I assume Zenit waived half of it, but it doesn't say whether Arsenal paid the remaining 1.5, or the player himself), and finally they are counting another 0.5m of bonuses due to Arshavin which they never actually paid to him.

Zenit are talking crap again. It's widely reported we got him for £10m plus another £2m success related add ons.

Re: The Great Arshavin Thread
Arshavin could use both his feet. I have seen him excel at LM, RM, second striker, and heck, even CM. RVP sucks in the left side - lack of balance, sloppy run, can't cut in with his right (letting the FB make overlapping runs), and overt reliance on his left foot to shoot. Besides, he could hit to the stands on a regular basis. But on form, he could be a damn good player.
