I think that too, they seem not only good but better organised. Well, I would be happy king

Organised are you having a laugh? They were cut open time after time. Gervinho was running rings round Garay. Please they'll choke as usual...

The 04' squad won the gold medal...

He played very little last season. Would still have selected him myself, but our U23 manager has a ridiculous biass for players from his old club Heerenveen.

Marcelo has been great for Brasil. Setup 2nd goal and setup a third which was given offside after some nifty work from Ronaldinho.

Hernanes has also been pinging about pinpoint balls with right and left foot.

exactly we already had Sno as an option as supersub. Especially because only a small sized squad is allowed at the Olympics, if he could have took 23 players, I wouldn't have had a problemn with him being included. Now I'ld have gone for Lens, Emnes, or whoever with a bit of movement as cover for Makaay. I need somebody to pass the ball to. Sibon is a freaking statue. Same goes for Maduro. I'm really worried about today if we start with 2 statues.

I'm not a fan of Babel, and certainly not as striker, but I'ld play him alone up front.

    I'ld play

Now 2-1 to Nigeria, and Cameroon 1-0 vs. Honduras. Argentina still drawing 0-0 to Australia...been watching that game and it's classic Arsenal-disease - lots of passing and possession but it ends up in nothing because Australia are doing a good job of keeping their midfield and defensive lines deep and close together. Messi has been poor too, leaving Argentina with no way to penetrate.

    Sobis MOTM

Ronaldinho was quite good today. He seems to be getting his confidence and fitness back. Both of his goals were from setplays, but he was also good from open play too. Marcelo & Hernanes were also impressive.

I don't understand why Hernanes isn't in the senior side. He never loses the ball and can spray it about like a Pirlo.

As for Argentina, it was a typical performance from them. Struggled to break down an Aussie side playing with 10 men behind the ball. They lack width from the FB's, and I don't think they need the double pivot either in such matches, because you end up with the likes of Mascherano acting as a playmaker.

Disagree, Lavezzi was class and Zabaleta was probably the best player on the park. Angel Di Maria was brilliant when he came on too.

Sorry, haven't got a fucking clue.

    Holland line-up:

    Vermeer, Zuiverloon, Marcellis, Jaliens, Emanuelson
De Guzman, Maduro, Bakkel, Drenthe, Beerens, Babel.

    Phew! No Sibon. cheers

If they play 4-2-3-1 with Maduro & Drenthe as DMF it actually makes sense. Apart from Luijckx not playing in stead of Maduro.

Zabaleta worked hard, not sure he done anything meaningful in the final third though.

Thought Lavezzi along with Aguero struggled in the system. He scored a nice goal and was better than Aguero, not sure I'd say it was a class performance though.

I didn't see much of Di Maria because I was watching two games at once, and the Argie stream was fucking up towards the end.
