I think he's first choice still, mainly as he is still captain. However Fergie expects 30 - 35 games in all competitions. So probably around 25 league games, with Brown covering and probably Da Silva getting the odd start too.
The worry is he could brake down again though.
It's probably a risk, at £2.5 million though I'd take it myself.

Cheers...it's out of him and Chimbonda. I know Chimbonda will start every game and be first choice...but obviously Neville plays for a better team and has European matches. I'm worried he'll get injured and rack up less than 10 points again!

Lose faith?
I thought that he didn't actually have that bad a first season considering he had limited opportunities. He's a 15-20 goal an EPL season striker when he has the confidence
