I dont think Liverpool have had an easy game against us for quite a while.

They've beaten us but its never been easy I dont think...and last season we could've beaten them if not for that disgrace of a sending off that happened.

What's his right position? He always played as a wide midfielder from what I can remember.

True...it's Benitez after all...his idea of wide player and everyone else's, is quite different. I still remember how he consistently played Angulo out on the RW for Valencia. Luckily for him that one actually worked.

It's much a case of Hleb at Arsenal believe me he'd be much better in the hole behind Torres than Gerrard.

E.g the goal he set up for Torres in the semi-final against Chelsea last season

coop - I would not expect an easy win but I don't think it's unreasonable for us to be aiming for a home 3 points. That said, we have not looked assured so far, you are in with a chance to get a result.

Teams hardly play with wingers these days, so I don't get what this obsession of Pool getting a winger is a bout. That position is now occupied by forwards or play makers in most teams.

BTW I believe Benayoun is far better than given credit for on this board. To me he's the most intelligent user of the ball than anyone Pool have got in forward positions(gerrard included). If only he had the pace of Hleb or Pires.....

Babel coming back means Kuyt doesn't have to play RM (probably will anyway though).

People might suck his C0ck if he wasn't stuck on the Pool bench, i hate players that are happy being 2nd fiddle. As things stand he doesn't seem interested in making the most of his talents.

I don't think he is. He was definitely one of the ones looking to move on this summer. teams like Man City and Roma were both rumoured to being tracked.

Just about to say the same thing. At West Ham he stood out and was excellent for them at times, especially in that FA cup final.

At Liverpool he's a bench player and when he does play he can't make the same impact.
