Didn't catch the game, no. Adriano is just coming back from an injury and a torrid time, i don't think he'll ever rise to the heights of a few years ago, but if theres one coach that could help him turn his career around its Mourinho.

I like Balotelli, looks like an amazing talent. With regards to 442, I think Jose feels his side will be harder to break down playing a 433 that switches to a 451 when they lose possession.

The simple answer is that currently Adriano cannot hit a barn door. He has quickly become such a pitiful imitation of his 2005 self.

    They should play with Balotelli.

Yea but he's good on Pro Evo.

They could play 4-4-2 and switch to 4-6-0 when they lose possession too Smile.

I agree with what you said regarding Mourinho's tactical approach by the way, he was too cautious and I believe that it ultimately cost Inter. It's well known that our defense is our weak link, especially without Nesta, so he should've been more adventurous in order to exploit that.

Also, maybe it would've been better to play a formation that suits the characteristics of your players instead of trying to make them adapt to a 4-3-3, sure it might all click in time, but I think he's not making the most out of the players at his disposal this way.

Thanks, pal. Yeah, Mancio built this squad to ideally suit the 442 and playing a much more rounded game than the counter attack that Mourinho is trying to instill. It will take time for the new approach and the 433 to gel, time and heartburn (for some players and most fans Sad). We have too many quality strikers for them to compete with wingers as well... and we have no attacking midfielder, tho Jimenez could play that role as could Stank/Figo/Quaresma.

But IMO Mourinho should slowly blend the team into his 433... and that could mean strikers like Balotelli/Adriano taking one of the winger spots initially. To me, that makes much more sense, coz Ibra is not a typical CF for a 433, and would need striker support.

Also did not like the subs Mourinho made, it looked like pushing the panic button and losing all the shape. Throwing in Adriano & Cruz to join Ibra and Quaresma just made us completely lose the midfield battle with just 2 midfielders. Milan easily managed to control the game from then on. One thing that reallly worked for Mancio at Inter was a strong and physical midfield, with 3-4 players controlling the game from there. Its an advantage that Mourinho has just discarded away, instead of using it initially as he gradually shapes the team into his approach.

Anyways, hopefully it will be a sharp learning curve for Mourinho in Serie A. He is a smart guy, I am sure he will get it right soon.
