Garrido puts Man City 2-0 up.

Chelsea also 2-0. Anelka gets the tap in right for once.

What a shambles, we've been outclassed in every department. Bring on Keane for Mascherano and Babel for Kuyt and go for this game now, we'll be lucky to even score if we continue like this.

What about the obvious footballing reasons for not playing Keane though?

Not really. ManC are playing amazing on the counter even with some long balls but they have been awful when they have tried to hold possession. Liverpool are still holding the CM well but the rest of the team have been $h!t. ManC are defending well though with only Reira doing anything dangerous against them.

Villa were never going to beat Chelsea. I was surprised by quite a few Villa thinking that Chelsea's unbeaten home record was in danger.

I didn't think that they will beat Chelsea, but even last year it was 4-4, Chelsea had tough trip to Romania mid-week and their squad is very short at the moment. With AVilla being very solid this season, I was expecting a decent challenge by them. And they didn't deliver.

Why not? Beat them at home last season and drew 4-4 at their place. Plus with all the injuries Chelsea had, and Villa coming into the game in form, there was some hope. Obviously it hasn't happened -but it wasn't an impossible notion.

Did last season not happen? They were Chelsea and we were Villa then. And we got 4pts/6 against them.

If Chelsea had not been playing their best and we'd continued our form, we'd have had a shot today. As it is, it sounds like Chelsea have been on top form, we've been turd. So it goes.
