How many premiership goals does Rossi have again? Wasn't that the downfall of Sinama? The fact that he didn't score and when he did they were against weak teams. I'm gutted he can't play man of the match games against Burton Albion.

26 goals since last december, 27 after lats night. 16 of which were for liverpool. So, basically, he is scoring for us. Just not as consistently as for England.

    Sinama>Rossi.

    Because Sinama is French.

Anyone want to defy this logic?

16 of them were for Liverpool. Add that to the 11 for England...

How come you replied to me earlier saying I shouldn't use statistics to prove arguments, yet you do exactly the same 5 hours later? scratch

Crouch is underrated technically, but I really think he isn't all that and is playing above his abilities for England (for Liverpool he plays like his true self).

Actually, it's something I've always said since 606, because I used to get shit from simpletons about using purely statistics to prove a point.

And, err, it wasn't an arguement. Frank said he's scored more for England than Liverpool - it's just not true.

    Stop nit-picking, Lawro.

Well seeing as we only play 2 of them, thats fine with me.

None of the Liverpool strikers would get in our first XI.

Hehehe, you got me there. Fair play. Ale

I don't think Fowler is up to much nowadays, he can be compared to Solskjaer I guess, in that they are both senior players coming back from a hiatus, but I think Solskjear - provided he stays injury free - will have a better season.

Smith I don't rate at all and never have. Bellamy isn't top class but is far better then Smith.

Who should Dirk be compared to? Rooney or Saha? he has a fantastic record (I'm told) in Holland and looked very lively against West Ham. I am going to predict he will be a hit and say = Saha.

    Rooney is better then Crouch.

Therefore, in my opinion, our strikers are overall better.

You can't compare individual strikers against the other though - how will they work as teams? It all depends on Dirk.

    hmmm liverpoo or manutd, hmmmmmm......

its a tough one. If one was to be perdantic you could say that Rooney isnt a striker so he doesnt count and therefore Liverpoo have the better strikers but if you count Rooney then i think utd just edge it.
