I'm not dismissing Dossena as such like so many Reds have already done.

I don't agree that his signing was a necessity.

I remember commenting last season when Udinese played Milan at the San Siro at the end of the season, that his defending was very suspect and that has proved the case this season. That is my major worry.
He doesn't close down players when they play in a cross nor his positional sense is nothing to shout about. Attacking wise at times he has impressed me. But as a LB myself the very basic fundementals of being a defender/FB he lacks which is unacceptable at this level.

Right now.. Insua should be 2nd choice. Always should have been in truth.

Forgot Warnock turning out to be a decent mid table player.

You guys think he can make it ?

    For us. No

    For a midtable team. Comfortably

He is a strong player but not dangerous enough on the ball to ever be great

That's what you get when you steal players still playing at youth categories...it's a risky move and could end like Cr@p...fortunately he never played for Boca's senior squad

I'm glad I don't 'steal' anything and end up paying £1.5 million for the privilege of stealing it Wink

We may make a profit, we may not, but you don't get anywhere without trying

hey, if you want to go fishing at our pond then you have to pay the price...and sorry no refunds...even if you just got a sardine out of it Wink

The lad has some talent, that is evident. He certainly should have been 2nd choice LB for us when the season began. Can't do worse than what Dossena is doing for us that a given.

Was reading a few of the broadsheets this morning and many had articles on Pennant's future with us.

Various reports today that Rafa wants to renew his efforts to ship him out in January. Both the Times and the Guardian report on a recent 'disciplinary matter', the Times talking about the club's concerns about his 'lifestyle' recently. Anyone know what this about (good sources rather than bluenose taxi drivers)? I hope he's not back on the booze, which would be utterly unforgivable and stupid.

Could be a club spin. But it does seem odd that Rafa was including him despite trying to see rid in the summer, but now he's completely frozen out. Guardian also reports he has a clause in his contract saying if he doesn't play 15 first-team games he can leave on a free and if he plays the 15 games his contract gets extended another 12-18 months. Another Parry classic blooper!

I know a Scouse lad who was at the MTV awards after show party cause he works for MTV. Anyway he was supposed to be $h!t faced at the awards which was 2 days before a game. I don't know when their drink curfew would start before a game but 2 days before a game is cutting a rather fine line espically in todays media and how Rafa plus most managers are these days.

    But true.

f@ck em. Big tough guy behind his comp, can insult and get away things here while in reality I bet everyone here could kick his ass if he uttered a bad word. Even the female posters what have little probably kicking his ass. Hell maybe his parents beat him up thats where all his anger stems from. Maybe his mother ran of with a Muslim who knows. I'm not saying it is that but it could be, the truth is out there in lrdland.

The guy is says dude and bozo FFS who the f@ck says that.

I'd be worried meeting half of you lot. But I love to meet lrd, I seriously would.

TS I don't come here to be constantly abused and insulted whenever I post a message espically when it is about football and which he in my view has no real interest here. Yes I shouldn't bloody reply but I'm a stubborn so and so but when it comes to this pathetic loner who obviously has nothing to live for and should have remained banned for what he did to this site and certain members.. I'm going to speak up.

Yes I wasn't posting at the time though I was a member but I was a lurker as you would say and was so shocked that he got away for a slap on the wrist more or less while others had to put up with this $h!t or leave.

Everytime I'm on here, do I look for any of his comments just to insult him? No.

I disagree with the vast amount of $h!t he spews out with but I do not comment cause I can't be arsed starting something but when he comes online, looks for my posts and I doubt without even reading them insults me for no other reason I'll say something.

To summerise everything I said, the kid has serious pychological and physical(tiny weeny little C0ck) problems hence his anger issues Bubbly

If he hacks me so be it. We all know he is dying to Gift

That was very, very, very enjoyable today

Yet again alonso was motm and key to the way we played. The difference torres made over keane was clear for all to see and gerrard was escpecially happy (after spending most of the match arguing with keane). Who cares about the missed chances, that was brilliant.

Good win today, although I missed a bit of it due to my girlfriend moaning about the match being on....

Saw Kuyt's goal, his strike that hit the crossbar earlier on was so unlucky! He's a totally different player to the one we all cursed last season. He looks so much more lively and up for it, even when he worked hard last year you sort of felt deep down he didn't believe in himself, this year it's different and if he's getting goals for us then it's such a massive bonus.

Missed Gerrard's goal but saw the chances Torres had, if he's been in the team for the last 3 or 4 matches from the start he'd have tucked them away, I think it was a tiny bit of lacking match practice, once that vanishes he'll finish those all day long.

In the short time torres was on the pitch he had a great assist for the gerrard goal, another good assist for the gerrard open net miss, hit the post, missed a one on one and generally made us far more dangerous. He is sooo good

The choice for rafa is now playing keane or his dropping one of masch, gerrard and alonso. It's an easy choice but a nice problem to have

Is she an Evertonian? If so... GET RID OF HER ASAP Surprised

She's not really in to football but if you asked her she'd say Liverpool...to be fair she let me watch most of it but I had no chance with the 3 PM's on Gilette Soccer Special! Laugh
