It is a mystery to me why he still hasnt scored even once. For someone with his energy he should be in the box m ore often then he is.

I do realize he is erratic but i am talking about him getting into the box more often. Surely this must improve with experience.
    EDIT: Derbyshire makes it 4-2

    Tevez gets his fourth Ale
Full time and it ends as 5-3. This game was full of positives all round. Tevez must stake a claim for a start at the weekend now. He took his chances well today. Anderson also had a good game. All in all apart from Neville's days being almost up as a top player, It was a really good game.

Tevez would not be on the bench if he had proven he was good enough over the time he has been at united

Ferguson has hit on a pretty successful strategy here of having a £30m striker and keeping him rested for the Carling Cup. If Man Utd and Spurs aren't drawn together then they should make it through to the final with ease. They'll both play strong teams and with the two-legs it diminishes the chance of a shock result, so hopefully they do get drawn together (I know a Spurs-Man Utd final would be a better spectacle, but even in this competition it wouldn't be much fun to see that as an Arsenal fan!).

Just a note of caution Lrd.

Just cast your mind back to what you were saying about anderson last year and now think of the laughing stock he has become

Give him a chance to get out of his nappies instead of hyping after a game in which he has been part of a defence that conceded three goals

You can thank me for this advice later in the season Bubbly

Very impressed with you lot, thought we were a bit slack, and got a bit lucky with the penalty and Your 'keeper was poor on Bent's goal. You were well up for it, and Priskin was a constant thorn in the side. You were winning most of the lose balls until DeMeritt, came off, that seemed to suck the life out of you, and Watford then ran out of steam.

Good game - hopefully you can use it as a springboard to get out of relegation trouble Ale
