Was going to say they need a week to perfect all that over top bullshit they make of every draw in any competition.
Their is usually a ton of awards and mainly speechs to be made before, during and after the draw.

It's always done on the same day as the UEFA Cup draw, along with a bunch of other meetings/awards/seminars/etc. involving the entire UEFA body. Since the UEFA Cup games are next week, the draw is next Friday. QED.
