It was a leg breaker. Osman looked shocked and quite rightly too. Of course there will be the usual excuse about Terry being 'not that sort of a player' 'it was an honest tackle' etc. But the fact is he could have seriously injured Osman.

It looked like a revenge tackle after seeing Hibbert with a big (but fair) challenge on Deco just before.

So pointless, as Osman was in a completely non-dangerous position.

Julio Arca should be praised, without his tackle these red cards might not be happening

There was another cardfest Chelsea was involved in on Boxing Day last year vs Villa - didn't both teams end up with 9 men or something? Obviously it's a seasonal thing with cards

Wouldn't be surprised if we see Drogba + Ivanovic for Anelka + Deco/Ballack at half time.

Boxing Day is usually good for the odd mad game. One of Liverpool/ManU/Chelsea will probably lose their 'easy' fixture.

And there's bound to be a couple of big scoring games, reds, etc.
