I agree. anything would be better. maybe the fifa ranking could be used in an unusual and rare situation like that. I know all rankings are criticised, including Fifa's, but it's better than a coin decision.

Wouldn't work logistically because the tie could be between two teams that played each other in the first game of the group...so to have a shootout between them you'd have to bring them back on the pitch on a different day.

argentina lost today and are on 1 point with 3 game to play, they will need to improve greatly to qualify now.

    they are really missing Piatti

it seems it is Messiah...a pathetic display by our youth coach, our players, and everybody else...watching that team play was like staring at the sun...if you don't look aside after a few seconds your eyes get hurt...I honestly chose to watch our second division footie before our national youth team...just horrendous

first time in 22 years we don't get into a youth WC

I've honestly never seen a football team play so badly...we have a lot of work to do for the next generations...

agree with everything you said, it seems batista's plans were all based around Piatti, and since he wasn't there, the team looked void of any real creativity.

But no worries Icardi and the U-17's we have argentina smiling again.
