Park Ji-Sung
Starts in all the big games for Man Utd at the moment. A very underrated player imo.

Re: Park Ji-Sung
The one and only
Actually I like Park alright. He's probably better than Salifou.
He strikes me as a good solid player who makes the most of what he's got. But he's not a particularly effective attacking player...he should get alot more goals and assists, considering who he plays with.

Re: Park Ji-Sung
I don't think Park Ji-Sung is underrated. I like him but I don't think he's anything special. He's disciplined, hard-working and a good tactical player which is why he complements the likes of Ronaldo, Neville, Rafael etc.
These types of player are important, but they're also ten-a-penny. Park doesn't really have anything about him that makes him stand above similar players.

Re: Park Ji-Sung
He stood out so much more at PSV. Seemed much pacier back then and committed defenders. Whilst he's still a good player I don't think he'll ever reach those heights again!

anyone whose enthusiasm, workrate and disciple overshadow any technical quality. Most clubs have a few, Osman, Lawrence, Kuyt, O'Hara, Eboue, the further down the league you go the more you'll find.

I think at PSV he had more of a free role, plus at Man Utd he is playing with better players so he is less likely to stand out.
Also he did have a serious knee injury which kept him out for nine months.

I don't know if you would agree or disagree but i think Park is a really good dribbler with the ball and his off the ball movment is one of the best in the league.
Plus his workrate and disciple.
This is why he is first choice at Man Utd.

Re: Park Ji-Sung
I don't agree that his off the ball movement is one of the best in the league.
He carries the ball well and he gets back quickly, I would say that his crossing/shooting is mediocre and he gives away a lot of fouls.
He's not as good as Kuyt, and Kuyt is nothing special.
He wasn't the main man at PSV, he was with some top players, Van Bomel, Vogel, Robben are hardly nobodys.
He's first choice for United because Nani is shit.

I agree with his shooting.

Kuyt is a striker, why you comparing him to Park?
But i would never pick Kuyt ahead of Park if i wanted someone to play RW.

I never said he was the main man at PSV. I don't think Robben was in the PSV team that got to the semis and played Milan.

He was first choice before we even signed Nani but he picked up a serious knee injury which meant he was out for 9 months.

I doubt it, we just signed Riera and he's doing ok, plus Babel.
Why?

Babel isnt a left winger. He's a gibbon you throw onto the pitch for our amusement.
