Although to be fair, this time around the reason we LOST to Manchester United was because of their ENGLISH goalkeeper (who pulled off some great saves during the game, and kept out O' Hara's penalty)

But in this case, where you as a German are mocking the English for penalty thier taking, it's definitely one where I'll concede that - bar one or two anomalies such as Matt Le Tissier or Alan Shearer - the English are generally p*ss poor. In a similar way that the English can mock modern German music for being equally p*ss poor, so poor infact that the German Football Team actually adopted "Three Lions" as it's own because there was no one in Germany who could write anything decent enough for them. Which, when you think about it, is as laughable as any missed English penalty Ale

Tsk,tsk. What exactly do you know of modern German music?

Anyhow, music is a matter of personal taste and liking. Take it or leave it.
On the other hand a ball in the back of the net is a ball in the back of the net. No arguing.

No arguing the fact that the Mannshaft adopted 3 lions is there my old chum?

Bobo - exceptional play on words there, I see what you've done: you've changed The Real White Pele to The Real White Penis. That, sir, is sublime! And you didn't mention Rio Ferdinand once either. You're humour is far too high brow for me, so I'll step out of this one before you humiliate me yet again with that acid tongue of yours Ale

It is a bangin choon old Bernd, just face it, do you really blame us. If we can accept that you should be fair-minded too – you hardly get a proper overview of a culture's music from crappy radios and TV stations, and you wouldn't want English music to be judged from that perspective...

I would not recognize '' 3 Lions'' even if they bit me in the behind, old fruit.

I retract my statement above. Just checked it on youtube and of course I know that catchy little tune. That's the song we won in 96 with the trophy, isn't it?
