You don't even have Helguera to offer any more! lol!

Why do you think I offered him? We want something for nothing. Doh

I knew he had been released by Valencia, allegedly for writing on Emery's board! You can have Helguera, but you still have to pay us for him, but we'll be generous; we won't charge you as much as we would for Villa. Have doesn't necessarily mean you get for free.

Valencia Star David Silva Rubbishes Reports Of His Juventus Ambitions
Los Che’s prized winger has shot down reports in the Italian media that he is already thinking about playing for the Old Lady of Turin next season…

As rumours continue to grow regarding David Silva’s uncertain future at Valencia, Serie A giants Juventus appear to have doubled up their efforts to sign the winger.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported yesterday that Silva had spoken to them about his ambitions to play for the Bianconeri next term, but Silva has vehemently denied making such claims.

“It is not true that I said to anyone in the Italian media that I would like to play for Juventus or to win the Champions League with them… or with any other club, for that matter,” he told the club’s official website.

“Valencia have always showed their loyalty to me and now, I have the responsibility to do likewise,” he added.

Los Che continue to struggle with mounting problems on and off the pitch but Silva is hoping that the team can start putting their woes behind them starting with Saturday night’s clash with Recreativo Huelva.

“I would like that tomorrow, the fans forget about everything that has happened and come out and support the team. We need them much more than they think,” he assured.

“From the bottom of my heart, I want to ask for the support of our fans because as our coach [Unai Emery said, these times of difficulties calls for more unity.

“As for me, I just want to do all the talking on the field. I am anxious to play and show the fans the best that I can offer,” he concluded.

Valencia, who have only won once in their last ten competitive outings, are currently eighth in the Primera Division ladder, three points adrift from the Europa League [UEFA Cup] qualifying zone.

King Pipita wrote:I would absolutely love for Real Madrid to go for Villa and Silva. For the sake of La Liga I would like to see both of them stay in Spain and it would break my heart to see either of them go to City. I think Benzema and Ribery are both plausible signings for RM but I prefer the Spanish. For all the hype that surrounds Benzema, in all of the big matches I've seen him in, he hasn't looked like the special player that he's hyped to be. Villa on the other hand is absolutely brilliant and I think he would be a legend for us. I would rather we not go for Kaka or Ronaldo because we need to spend that money on many holes and their transfer fees would prevent us from making other necessary changes.

Yep Benzema didn't do well against Barcelona but he just came back from injury. He is still young though for a striker (21) and he needs to mature a bit. I think him staying another year at Lyon is good for him. He needs to gain more experience at the highest level.

I thought Benzema was younger! Hmm he's done very well in Lyon this season, but I'm not sure if I agree with you that he should stay in Lyon another season. Even though they've gotten more competition you can't say he's really challenged. Even being at a smaller Spanish club or something down that line would help him develop a lot, seeing another league etc.

What the fock he would go to a small Spanish club for? It's good he stays at Lyon because he can play champions league games.
He is challenged in France, defenses in France are usually tough and difficult. He still has over 10 years to play so one extra year won't hurt.

    That would decimate the team.

IMO they should sell Barraja, Albelda, Helguera, Angulo, Del Horno, Morientes, Edu(all high earners)

They probably will need to sell Villa + Sillva maybe Fernandes + Banega

Aside from that they will need to keep the rest otherwise they won't even be competitive enough to get in the UEFA Cup next year.

The summer will be exciting and we will spend a fortune, we will go for a big named stiker...most probably Villa but i thin he'd rather go to Real or Barce. If he goes to Barce then Eto'o will be available so we can just go for him instead. We will splash the cash this summer and i cause lots of problems for the big teams cos we can outspend all of them.

    I cant wait !
