    RUMOURS Crazy

    Ahhhhh!

I think the lineups are announced soon. Hopefully we can get 3 or 4 in the first half to calm our nerves and then finish them off in the 2nd half with N'Gog and El Zhar getting a brace apiece.

Lovely thing going into this game, which I haven't had for some time, is no expectations, nothing to lose. We're out, I've done my grieving, all we have to do tonight is enjoy the game.

Owen Hargreaves has bottled a whole season.

Steven Gerrard has not even made the bench as Liverpool look to overturn a 3-1 first leg deficit in tonight's Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea.
The skipper is struggling with an adductor injury and does not make the 18.

The Reds XI in full is:

Reina, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Skrtel, Carragher, Kuyt, Lucas, Alonso, Mascherano, Benayoun, Torres.

Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Hyypia, Agger, Riera, Babel, Ngog.

strange line up, is Lucas going to play behind Torres or on the left wing?

Oh god, this just means they will treat us to endless shots of Gerrard sitting on the bench and the commentator saying 'What might have been' or 'I wonder what he's thinking' in wistful tones. FUCK OFF!

    so spot on.

Anyway bit of a mind game by Rafa saying he'ld risk him...

    Come on you Reds!

    @COTR
Do really think that's your best chance. Lull Chelski in some false sense of security and then scoring halfway the 2nd half & turn on the heat.

    lol!

    you know it's true.

Such a bizarre line-up you would think Liverpool were protecting the scoreline they already have, could be a really horrible first hour as Benitez might be planning a late rape with Babel, Riera and NGog.

Kuyt is shite, he'll miss 5 open goals and before finally bundling in a 90th minute consolation which probably would have crossed the line without his interference.

Let's just hope it is one of these baffling decisions Rafa makes in europe that somehow work

He made a superstar of Igor Biscan, he made Djimi Traore into a Juventus beater, now he is attempting to score 3 goals with Lucas Leiva providing the creativity

Tim Vickery said of Lucas that he was 'too similar' to play alongside Gerrard.

Well let's see if he was right. I have an inkling that he'll play on the left with Benyanoon behind Torres. If he does it's a bit of a kick in the balls to Riera, Babel and Dossena.
