Elia should be jailed for what he did to that German fullback last night. The bloke probably committed suicide after the match.
That much raved about Baumjohann impressed by orchestrating Germany's demise. problems started when he fucked up. With a name like that he should focus on Super-G or Biathlon anyway.

Just seen some highlights, the best chance the Germans got was when van Wolfswinkel hit his own post

Congrats Dutchies!
This result is really worth an own thread, at least from a dutch perspective.
Dutch youth teams didn´t win against German youth teams for nearly three years. In fact they lost nearly every match.
So this eruption of joy is very understandable:biggrin:

Indeed. It's astonishing to see that such a meaningless friendly can cause so much excitement among our Western neighbours.

Every win against Germapolska counts!! And its just funny to see such a big country can produce so little talent! And its not only to football

A thesis like that, based on one single match of a team that missed 14 players is risky, to say the least.
The best players of the last U19 Euros and the last U17 WC were German.

You have a country that is five times as big as ours (that's before adding Poland where you get all your *real* talents), so for our 11 players you should have 55 to match those....and you whine about 14 playes missing ?!
No talents indeed

So, you expect India or China to win the WC in South Africa?
If I remember right, the Durch U21 team lost their deciding group match against mighty Switzerland. Switzerland has only half of the population of Holland.

I don´t know any Poles playing for Germany. If you count Poldi and Miro as Poles, half of Hollands team isn´t dutch, then.
Did Surinam or Marocco ever complain, that you steal their players?
I don´t see any difference between a German of Polish decent playing for Germany and one of the black dutch players from Surinam.

Chindia and China arent fooball countries, what is a big country that loves football.....brazil! Must be pretty succesful then? Oh yes they are!
Most Surinams live here, the 300k overthere dont really care about anything. You cant really compare a country with 300k with a sovereign nation of 40 million...of course in Germany you can!
With Moroccan I reckon you mean Affelay and Boularouz...both are born in Holland...Oppoln hasnt been German for years!
Besides you lot playing with Polish is even worse, its like us playing with Belgians! at least they all speak Dutch anyway.
But to return to the first question, how is it possible that Germany produces so few talents???
Think about it

Poldi and Miro came to Germany at the age of two. So they spend thewir whole life here. Immigrants like your players from Surinam. Only difference: They have no dreadlocks and take no drugs.Fey wrote:

I don´t know, there are so many Arabs playing for Holland, but probably yes.Fey wrote:With Moroccan I reckon you mean Affelay and Boularouz...
Because we Germans concentrate on producing WC and Euro titles (the real ones).Fey wrote:But to return to the first question, how is it possible that Germany produces so few talents???

Suriname was not that long ago part of this country! Now I know many Germans will claim Poland is part of their country too, but I doubt the Polish will tell you the same!!
You cant compare Suriname with Poland!! It would be possible if we started to play Belgians or Germans, but we dont! THough van Bommel is still a ?
producing wc and euro titles Germany is a disgrace, everytime you are drawn in a decent group you bottle it.
You have a good team, but you dont have good players!

Suriname and Poland are both independent countries.Fey wrote:

But that´s not the point. The reason why they play for Germany is, that the were born and bred here.
Pure and utter jealousy. Give more of it, it´s like some good music to my ears. You only forgot the referees, the luck in penalty shootouts, the weather and the doping. This enviousness is nearly Austrian like.Fey wrote:producing wc and euro titles Germany is a disgrace, everytime you are drawn in a decent group you bottle it.
But don´t worry,I won´t ask you, what you have in your cellar.
The big difference between Germany and Holland is, that we have both.fey wrote:You have a good team, but you dont have good players!

Suriname WAS Holland until a few decades ago! Poland never was, well at least not at free will. And Klose is born in Poland!
And yes those titles are all thanks to penalties!
And Germany doesnt really have any good players, otherwise they would play for the big teams in Europe, which they hardly do.

Bayern Munich is a big team. I want our players to stay in the Bundesliga.
The Bundesliga will be a Top 3 league very soon.
And as long as our National teams is successful I couldn´t care less.

German players indeed stay at German clubs, same can be said for English players for England, italians, Spanish etc.
The difference is that unlike Germany they are actually succesfull in the Uefa cup and the CL.
Good dutch players go abroad, yet German clubs are hardly more succesfull then the Dutch clubs! And that with a far superior budget.

It's fun to Fritzl (rape) Germany on the pitch and to show them what REAL football is... Of course I loved that!
I haven't seen the game but I saw the result with a bright smile on my face.
But all the nonsense about Poles, war sentiments and stupid hatred is so low.

Again, our best players play abroad, cant be said of the Germans. Im pretty sure more Dutchies will play the CL final then Germans.
Overall Dutch clubs won as much CL's as Germany, Germany did won 2 UEFA cups more though...well done! So having 5 times more people zillions more money and being able to keep your ''best'' players is surely paying off!!

Yes, to compare the sentiments of the Austrians and the Dutch towards the Germans (esp. in football issues) hits the nail on the head. It´s more or less the same.Axeslammer wrote:Ricardo Jol wrote:O boy, I saw my fellow Dutchmen Axe and Fey went nuts again after just a Germany Holland friendly..

We Germans are without any harm and love all dutch. Heintje, caravans, Rudi Carell (the one and only), the first class vergetables from your greenhouses. In fact we can´t live without the dutch.
