Of course he cares he is human. We saw how the booing affected him in one match. IMO he thought he was the bigger star in the relationship obviously when she is really huge and possibly big in America as well he'll definitely regret it more especially when shes moved on with someone else. He's hardly going to find someone who will love him for who he is and trust him after all this so for short term pleasure he's got a life of regret.

She's no more of a star than Paris Hilton, it is all superficial and based on no talent. Ashley is easily the more CREDIBLE star, even if he isn't "bigger".

Also, she isn't going to be big in America, she was rejected as a host for the US xfactor, and they don't care about girls aloud over there. In 5 years it will all have fizzled out and people won't be bothered, Ashley on the other hand could still be competing in the premier league.

The press are essentially 'gutter press' so whatever he says will be flipped and strewn across stands so that it gets more people to buy it. If the headline 'Cole tells all about Cheryl' was on the front page of some magazine or paper then it'd sell loads, but I don't think he's that much of a c**t.

I can't be arsed to hate him that much any more anyway – if you think about it Cashley has handled his departure from Arsenal far more maturely and admirably than a certain person we might mention. Can one think of any comparable retaliation or hitting back at the fans in an unpleasant fashion that's really worth mentioning it? Most of the abuse he gets seems to be for being a c**t anyway, which is pretty poor when you think of what bigger c**ts there are out there.

He's a deeply boring individual of course with little to commend him as a person, but his qualities as a footballer are undisputed and he seems to have added a new dimension to his game lately which wasn't there before, which is what we should be talking about.

Yeah it's being reported in Marca as well...apparently some fans were pestering him for photos/autographs when he was trying to leave the stadium after the game, but he lost patience and hit some guy in the knee with his car. And allegedly he didn't even bother to stop and check whether the guy he hit was seriously hurt or not
