Not a bad game in parts, but still not overly watchable.

For England, still too much averageness in midfield. Henderson, Cleverley and Bertrand have been very unimpressive.

Some decent moves, 2 good chances, Sturridge and Welbeck have been the stand outs.

The Czechs had a reputation coming into this competition that equally deserved of criticism. One nice volley but otherwise as average as Ukraine. Very beatable. Come on lads. Let's do a Germany 2002 and get all the way to the final the ugly way!

Should play Jones and Smalling behind the strikers - they've been the most creative on the pitch. Sturridge has pushed too far forward, no one in there to thread the ball through

Sturridge can play a pass. Pearce should play him in midfield from now on, stop him from moving high up the pitch.

Welbeck was through there off that little dinker, until he was savagely bodychecked.

Sturridge does look like a top player. If he was German Kroos would be talking of domination whilst Otto would b wondering how German he really is.

As it is, he can dribble, shoot, and pick a pass. Which isn't all that common for a striker and far more than Darren Bent can do.

Only watched the 2nd half, but seem to have played pretty good. Never easy to break down a team with everyone behind the ball, but played pretty patient and finally got the breakthrough.

Smalling looks more impressive each time I see him. Ferguson was mocked for that one at first, but looks a very astute purchase. Jones, not quite so convincing. Couple of ropey moments, including just then..
