Rumours suggest we will add Mexes to the backline, and that Nesta is finally fit enough to play a good chunk of the games.

On the bench we would have players like Bonera, Seedorf, Inzaghi, and Borriello.

They are about the same as far as the first teams go. The first one will probably fetch less points in Serie A, just coz of the leaky defence. However, if Milan were to buy a top CB and a top CM, the second one could become far better than what Milan had last season.

If Ronaldinho regains his motivation it could be much dangerous....Expect Flamini to be much better as well.

Well, I think the #2 defence is probably a little better, if you get Mexes it would be much better.

The midfielders are quite comparable.

If Ronaldinho can get back to his 05-07 form then I think even the attack could be better.

Ronaldinho is finished, he will never be as good. From now on it will be like Kluivert (though Ronaldinho was actually good) and Adriano.

The 2nd is stronger, but its not good enough to go after Inter.

You could still do better than Ambrosini or Gattuso surely?

Our attack(strictly speaking about the strikers) will certainly be much better, last year we pretty much soldiered on with only two dependable strikers(Pato and Inzaghi), this year the useless Sheva is gone and we're probably getting Dzeko which is a huge upgrade.

Defence is improved with the additions of Silva and Cissokho, but we need another capable CB.

In midfield Kaka and Beckham leaving means that Flamini and Ronaldinho will get to play a significant role this season. I agree with what some said, a lot depends on Dinho. I'd say another creative midfielder is needed though.

It's also important that last year we had to do without Nesta, Borriello and Gattuso for almost an entire season. So, them(hopefully) returning means that we will certainly be better than last season in some areas. Especially Gattuso was by far our best player last year until he got injured.

You will always have some key injuries, the san siro pitch will ensure that. Thats why having quality back ups is necessary. Last season the main reason Milan didn't do well was coz they have no back up for Nesta. Its important that Milan get these back ups this season. Dinho can be Kaka's replacement, but you still need one for Becks (till he returns at least). So IMO its critical that Milan get a CB and a midfielder after Dzeko. You cannot tell who will get injured next season, best to be prepared!

On a side note, its funny how Forza left Seedorf out of both line ups!!

TBH I'm hoping for a new AM and use Ronaldinho as back up + Mexes would be awesome, here's to wishing.

Still think Milan should try and sign Adebayor.

I think so too...it's risky to rely on Ronaldinho. Better to buy someone young who can step up if required.

No chance that Ronaldinho won't start next season(Berlusconi has pretty much forced this) but I agree that we need a back-up to keep him on his toes, if anything.

Well you have Seedorf don't you ?

I don't know how Seedorf still gets into the team the guy's literally immobile and is getting bigger by the game.
