Eredivisie 2010/2011

Seems that league has a very tough cash limit. Can't judge the FF value of half of those players. Like Gorter, great player like his dad, maybe he'll be even better. Once futsalled v Sr.

Honda is freckin class, but even in the 2nd league they already charged 10 million for him! Could be the best Japenese player since Shinji Ono..hell perhaps of all time!

PSV wants him, but they can only buy him if they sell Affelay or if VVV will lower the price.

I dont know why PSV is so highly rated though, they look even worse then last year!

Never expected Jans to start with Koc and Pedersen, should have been Koc and Matavz.

We've only got 17 squad players at the moment : we should have bought at least 2 midfielders by now.

Thanx, that clears it up. Still -without being able to judge your new signings- I expected a bit more in terms of transfers from FC Groningen. Only have an opinion on Koc. Could be a very good signing.

When you look at the shit results of last years, general expectation is a top 5 finish but if everyone remains fit and with Super Mario in charge who knows!

Gabri is decent, Oleguer is really bad though. We also have a Barca youth product now

Well I suppose the logic behind it is, that 5 plants are adequate amount of weed of personal use.

Ron Jans is begonnen aan zijn achtste seizoen als trainer van FC Groningen. Met dat aantal dienstjaren is hij veruit de langstzittende coach in de Eredivisie. Ter vergelijking, bij Sparta Rotterdam stonden in dezelfde periode negen verschillende eindverantwoordelijken voor de spelersgroep.

Op 21 oktober 2002 nam Jans bij Groningen de taken over van Dwight Lodeweges. Hij leidde de club sindsdien naar achtereenvolgens de 15e, 13e, 12e, 5e, 8e, 7e en 6e plaats in de eindrangschikking van de Eredivisie. De clubleiding van FC Groningen zag geen reden het met een andere trainer te proberen.

Het contrast met de overige clubs is groot. SC Heerenveen deed het in de periode-Jans nog met drie trainers, bij de overige clubs was het trainersverloop veel groter. Bij de selecties van ADO Den Haag, Ajax, PSV, RKC Waalwijk en Willem II stonden zeven verschillende trainers voor de groep. Feyenoord is met Mario Been al toe aan de achtste trainer sinds 21 oktober 2002.

Sparta spant de kroon. Op Het Kasteel hadden liefst negen coach de touwtjes in handen tijdens de periode dat FC Groningen alleen gebruik maakte van de diensten van Jans. Bij het rijtje Sparta-trainers moet worden aangetekend dat Fritz Korbach slechts één dag in dienst was. Hij moest zijn taken al snel neerleggen vanwege gezondheidsredenen.

Nog een aardig feitje: sinds de dag dat Jans in dienst trad bij FC Groningen waren er precies honderd andere trainers actief in de Eredivisie.

they're trying to pump up the birthrate. In France thay do it by giving you about a third of the minimum wage a kid; in Holland you are allowed to grow additonal 5 plants for each kid.

It's illegal to sell it and to buy it. It's even illegal to use it. But the loophole is that these offenses are not criminalized, so nobody can actually go to prison for most crimes involving marijuana. Smoking and selling marijuana is basically the equivalent of breaking your neighbor's window with a big rock, the worst you can have for it is a fine.

Marijuana is basically "tolerated", so the authorities decide not to go after people who use it or certain designated businesses that sell it (coffee shops) as long as they follow certain guidelines. But legally, you can always get arrested for selling weed and for smoking it, this is a right that the authorities keep.

The funny part is that legally, the authorities could walk into any coffee shop they want and arrest them for the sale of marijuana. They will not do that of course since it would look very bad to the public, but it makes it easier when a municipality decides to shut down a coffee shop for whatever reason. The coffee shop owners basically have no rights, so they can't protest legally against it. In the end they were committing an illegal act that the authorities were tolerating.
