If only he could play Bolton, Hull and Stoke every week, he might even break double figures for the season.

Has Bendtner scored a winning goal against Man U this season?

Scratch that, has Bendtner scored a winning goal against a top four side in any season?

Scratch that, has Bendtner scored any kind of goal against a side in the top half of the league, in any season?

    NGog's goal ensured the win.

Who were missing four of their key players, including both first choice centrehalves, in a game where Arsenal got absolutely fucked. As I mentioned on the Arsenal thread, Bendtner's ONLY goals in big games are consolations. All his other goals come against sides battling relegation.

Still, he's better than Eduardo. That's something for him to be happy about.

I've never understood the Liverpool fans bizarre obsession with Bendtner. Put it this way, the reason we are still considered challengers for the title is down to his two injury time winners.

Yes, without a doubt. Beyond who is the better footballer, Bendtner is a complete cock who already think he's brilliant. The disruption caused by having him around must be considerable.

No, the reason you are still considered title challengers is refereeing decisions.

Does it not appear a tiny bit contradicotry praising someone who scores a goal every 196 minutes whilst slating someone (on their goal scoring record) who scores a goal every 135 minutes.
(those are my own workings out so are possibly slightly inaccurate).
Bendtner also has 4 assists, N'Gog has none.

Also, N'Gog's 7goals have come against: Unirea, Wigan, Debrecen, Birmingham, Man utd, Leeds and Stoke.

Hardly a glittering number of teams to have scored against. Besides, such an argument is stupid, players will always score the vast amount of goals against team with poorer defences. Check Rooney's stats as well if it pleases you.

Woah there ladies. Tweedle is misguided and Cesc is a racist.

Tweedle I doubt you'll find any Liverpool fans on here hyping Ngog up to the extent that some Arsenal fans cream over Bendtner.

Cesc you racist shit, not all Liverpool fans are obsessed with Bendtner, but COTR's comment is in context with a previous statement Agogner made suggesting his 9 goals in 40 odd appearances made him prolific.

Neither of them get a lot of goals, but I haven't seen anyone here claiming N'Gog is developing a prolific streak. Also, Bendtner plays in a considerably more creative side. The goals he's scored are the bare minimum of what you'd expect for a central striker in that Arsenal team. I'm not saying Bendtner is crap because of his goalscoring record, I'm saying that given the team he's in his record is mediocre at best.

On the odd occasion I've watched the two players over 90 minutes I've almost invariably been more impressed by N'Gog. I don't think either will ever be a top level striker, but I rate N'Gog higher. I don't really see the much-vaunted link up play that is apparently Bendtner's strength. If you can show me goals he's played a key role in creating (not the final pass for a tap in) then I'm willing to reconsider, but I see Bendtner as being not very quick, not particularly strong, has an average touch, is an average goalscorer, hasn't got particularly good movement or timing. There is nothing exceptional about him. The only reason he's rated is because he plays for FC Hype.

Personally I think chelsea deserve to win the title this season and in the league, decisions for and against Chelsea have evened themselves out but Utd have good as favourable, if not more favourable decisions from referees than Arsenal this season. Hell, one of them was against Arsenal!

Man Utd have had a very similar season to Arsenal - generally played quite poorly, have won games due to the odd good moment by a handful of players, or luck, or refereeing decisions. I don't think either deserve to win the league. Even Chelsea don't really deserve it, but they've been less crap than everyone else. Very few teams will come out of this season with much credit.

I'd like the minute taker to note that I've changed my stance of decisions for and against Chelsea evening themselves out.
