Tweeds this year you are mistaking Liverpool fans for journalists and posters of other teams on here. They were the ones predicting it would be our year before seeing the effect Alonso leaving would have on the team. Now of course after one defeat we have gone from one extreme to the other and it's all dooooooooooooommmmmmmmmm.

You really should learn how to structure a sentence properly Lrd. Most of that doesn't make sense.

Last year the aim was to challenge and the Liverpool fans that I know were saying they would be happy to just challenge for the title. If the aim is to challenge then obviously a fan is going to think there is a possibility of winning. It is called optimism and fans of most clubs start a season with it. As this happened and we nearly won then the pre season expectations were met.

This year post Alonso's sale it has mostly been journalists and other posters backing Liverpool while the Liverpool fans were all saying how much we were going to suffer without Alonso. There are numerous examples of this. But still we get 'Liverpool fans think it is their year bla bla bla'

As far as fans I've come across and know from the big teams and London teams:

Arsenal - Idiotic, petulant, knee jerkers. My mates that support Arse are brilliant, all the others I've come across have been atrociously ignorant.

Chelsea - Chav scum on the doll with elitist and arrogant demeanors

Man Utd - The ones that arent gloryhunters are delightful, really.

Liverpool fans are the least knowledgeable and most bias set of fans I've come across. They also think they play good football.

Spurs - Very good. Huge chip on their shoulder about the other team in North London but they know what good football looks like and have shown to have decent knowledge of the game outside of the country.

Fulham - I probably come across more Fulham fans than most. All positive things to say really.

WHU - Really blue collar, every Hammers fan seems to be a tradesman! Come across varying degrees of West Ham fans, all seemed pretty damn biased towards their side though, and they always accuse you of being a gloryhunter!

Im not trying to generalise here, just stating the perceptions I've gotten from the sets of fans I've encountered for the more heavily supported clubs in London.

It should be Liverpool (especially with my hatred for Benitez and Marszcze_rano), but it's really Tottenham (despite the fact that unlike Liverpool I enjoy watching them) only because they were supposed to be skint this summer after spending big during the winter...and yet they spent big again, including hijacking our deal for Naughton. Go to hell!!!

Arsenal is high on the list as always and City is climbing too, not even because of their spending or their attempt to get Lescott, it's mostly because of some Mark Hughes qoutes regarding this transfer.

We were/are skint - we only had the money to buy the Kyle's after we sold Zokora.

Whilst Ashley Young's end product is good he was far more creative and exciting under Boothroyd (no really).

Perhaps the problem is that every time he's managed to see Zlatan and Totti play, they've been rubbish. This has always been the case for me sadly. I would love to see them both at their best dicking some team. It just seems whenever I catch a game involving them they're shite.

I get your point but the problem is then that perhaps he simply hasn't seen those players enough to really form in an opinion. Also I assume that he just has his preferences which is fair enough if he is honest about it in that way.
