then Ozil vs. Nani
and leading up to Kaka?
blutgraetsche wrote:No, born and raised in Gelsenkirchen. Even his parents were born in Germany afaik. He doesn't even have a Turkish passport.
You would never ask that if he would play for a different country than Germany. Hypocrisy.

nani and gourcuff 2 years older than özil
have my doubts they will ever reach özils level
nani is more a winger, özil is attacking midfielder with vision
blutgraetsche wrote:I just hate threads like these. Deisler is just hyping him because he wants Bayern to sign him. For the sake of German football, I hope that this won't happen.
blutgraetsche wrote:Stop the hype, Özil is the last player who needs it.
He is a huge talent who can become a true great one day, but he has a lot to learn still. If he remains focused and down to earth like he is, if he makes the right career decisions, means not wanting too much too early, he will have a great career. His potential knows no limits, but potential / talent is just one aspect of a successful career.
It's good to know that he seems to have the right mentality, which is important, but his agent is a greedy c**t. Not the first career that was sabotaged by greedy agents / wrong advice.

you say he's the best midfielder on the planet and you ask us if he's better than Gourcuff. Why not compare him to Kaka straight away then?

Kaka > Iniesta any given day and twice on sundays.
One man army that Milan banked on to win trophies. Replaced by Dinho? Haha.
Only retards would diminish his talents.
Ozil is really brilliant from what I've seen so far. But he has to dominate the assists and goals charts to be named Bundesliga's best player.
On the other hand, Gourcuff has already done that, and won Ligue Un POTY. It's a bit far fetched to compare Ozil to Gourcuff already.
Similarly talented players in different leagues who would make a favourable comparison:
Nasri, Modric, Hazard, Milner, Jovetic, Giovinco, Mata, etc

Trophies,
dinho won Trophies, he was a Trophy

Of course not at all for the sake of Werder Bremen, right?

Spider Crouch wrote:It doesn't matter about Iniesta, Kaka or anyone else -
you could take their best bits and clone them in a test tube to create a superhybrid footballer,
and Ozil would still be better than him.
Limitless potential
