We should have two solid keepers (James and Green) and a keeper for pens....not sure who that'd be from that list maybe there's another

That's what we've been saying, but the Arsenal hype machine keeps telling us he's better than any of the English keepers.

Gotta be Rob Green. No other real alternatives anyway. And while I don't think Green is a spectacular keeper by any means, I think he's solid/competent enough.

I did Lrd, but I went to several Watford games in the season he was first there. I think it's fair to say the fact that he was on loan at Watford from Man Utd was common knowlege to Watford and Man Utd fans. I can and do excuse Kimmy for not having the full SP on Championship players from 4 years ago, and it doesn't really affect the point he was making.

The year he was in the premiership it was made widely aware he was on loan was it not? that's the percifics.

And i am not arguing whether he is good or not good enough. I just find it laughable he's not rated as high as Kirkland or in the expert Kimbo's case...Harper

    Opinions changed?

    F365 says...

'While David James is a part-timer, Robert Green is shipping goals, Ben Foster is a third-choice keeper, Paul Robinson is still Paul Robinson and Chris Kirkland's back problems mean he needs a Shackleton High Seat Chair, Hart is keeping clean sheets and quietly doing rather well for an overachieving Birmingham.'

Can Joe Hart play his way into contention Question

    There's definitely a bandwagon. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/philmcnulty/2010/01/hart_steps_up_world_cup_bid.html

In an ideal world, he could go to the World Cup as a third choice keeper. Carson may always have been shit, but his career certainly hasnt improved since his performance against Croatia.

Someone deemed not good enough to start for man city cannot be englands number 1. for his age hes great and at least we have someone for the future he'll be a good backup. But James and Green should be ahead of him.
