He is a decent shot-stopper but doesn't seem to command his box well.

He isn't good enough with the ball at his feet to play for a really top club - the same thing that's stopped Jaaskelinen from going to a top club.

Did you see Belarus' keeper on Wednesday ?

He was a very decent footballer - better than any keeper the home nations have ever produced.

    How depressing.

    David Dunn was imperious today.

Shame he's been blighted by injuries.

Not as bad as the blatant pen they didn't get at your place last season + the clear sending off for ronaldo's assault on Dunn that was missed (jealous of his ability?)

Or the assault by Vidic on Jason Brown that lead to your equaliser at Ewood Park.

If you could find that on youtube or something please do. Dunn's reaction to it may just surprise you Pierre....

    Is Dunn's reaction relevant ?

If I'm playing football and my opponent punches me in the face - it doesn't matter if I respond by offering a handshake, its still a red card.

I'd say when a player doesn't even turn around or change his step or notice something has happenend...to call it an assault is laughable.

If that was a red card we'd be down to 7 players after 7 minutes every game.

Its violent conduct - its a red card offence if not committed by ronaldo or Vidic.

'violent' conduct, or a tiny flick after a tangle. Huth's action was violent conduct.

A player tries to tackle you and you kick him in the calf = red card for violent conduct.
