Your thoughts on your team?

At the start of the season you would have had expectations on how your team will do this season, depending on how you did last season and who you signed in the summer.

Now after watching your team play for around 3 months, in the league, cup competitions and maybe in Europe.

Has your expectations changed?

My expectation for Barça was to win the league, and take the Cup game by game and see if the draw/injury situation is good enough to allow winning it, as every year. For the CL I was fully expecting a Round of 16 knockout...though now they may not even get there.

So far things are going ok...although the general level of play is not as smooth as it was last year, and results like the 1-1 against Osasuna would not have happened last season (f@cking Marquez ).

He doesn't appear to be very clever going on what you keep telling us about him

Personally, I was expecting us to struggle in the league early. With a new manager and lots of new players I assumed there would be a period of adaptation. I was just hoping we would stay within shouting distance of Barcelona. The play has been about what I expected, sometimes good, sometimes bad. And as expected some players have settled quicker than others. But the results in the league have been better. I thought we would have dropped more points at this stage so I'm quite happy to be just one point behind the 'greatest team in the history of sport'. Obviously it's been a major blow to go out of the Copa del Rey so early. Never thought we would exit for a second year in a row to a third division team. CL is going along fine. I assume we will qualify for the 1/8 finals and then we'll see what we are really made of, if we have made any real progress. Still have possibilities to win the league or CL and I'm hopeful one of them will fall.

Thought we'd be shit and Roma havent failed in my expectations.

For Inter, I expected the scudetto, and a better CL showing... semi's would satisfy me.

So far, I can't complain... we are 5 points clear already in Serie A, and are topping our tough CL group. That said, our performances in the CL have been far from satisfactory, apart from the 2nd half of the last game. But its a tough group, and as long as we qualify, its good enough. If we beat Barca in the next game, then in my mind we would ve performed over my expectation.

it's about time someone created a thread for people to give their thoughts on their team. It's what the board has been lacking for some time now.

I have so many pent up thoughts that I don't know where to begin.

My expectations were to start poorly, be out of the title race by November before making a late surge at the end of the season, causing anyone who has backed us to get a little bit excited, before finishing 3rd.

So far we are on course.

We've been better than I thought, still have the same flaws from time to time though.

My expectations havnt changed, im happy with how we are doing, i wanted us to be challenging for top 4 but as long as around top 6 then we are doing well. Win our game in hand and we are 4th so got to be happy with that, although im dissapointed we threw away 4 points vs Fulham and Burnley, but overall we are doing well, epsecially as we are in the quarters of the cup and have lost only 1 game out of the 14 we have played.
