EMB Top 10 Players of the Decade

Something to keep us going through the winter break...

Who are your top 10 players of the decade. ie. from 2000 onwards. Rank them from 1-10, and after everyone has posted I'll add up all the points using a 1st = 10 points, 2nd = 9 points...10th = 1 point system, to get the Official EMB players of the decade. And maybe we can extract a team of the decade out of it as well.

Zidane and Rolando are not 1 and 2. because i think they were at their best in the 1990's.

Bluey will have a heart attack when he sees that Zanetti isn't included.

Think players like him and Giggs are more deserving than Fat Ronaldo who's barely done anything apart from one World cup and a couple of good seasons.

Well in this decade Beckham has won 4 league titles.
Played and scored in two world cups.
Left the Prem in style scoring a stunning free kick to cap off the season with the title.
Won over all doubters in his final year with Madrid. Being the main reason for their landing of the title
Then impressed hugely for Ac Milan in Seria A.
And also has put the MLS on the map and got some team to their playoff final and scored a pen in the shootout there.
Almost rescued England from their dismal crisis in the 2008 qualifying group after Mclaren's disgraceful actions towards him. Not least in the final game.

I'd say he's probably done as much as anyone. The only homo is the fag trying to put everything he does down just purely because it turns to gold.

He's a national hero my friend.

He's done so well for England - there was that game against Greece where he scored the free-kick.

And...erm...Greece at Old Trafford and er the game v Greece when he ran round like a headless chicken before scoring a great-free kick.

I mean if he hadn't scored that free-kick we would have had a 2 legged tie with a very average Ukraine team who were poor away from home so its probably one of the most important goals of all time when you think about it

Yes he had some doubters in his last year, like he has you for a doubter now but if he wins the world cup you might stfu like they did.
