He's awesome we had 100 mill to spend and went for Valencia it makes no sense.

Anyway don't you feel top 4 for Pool looks super difficult when you're chasing 3 teams all of which are more than a match for anyone on their day. Tottenham were my favs but they had some stinking results at bad times but still rate them more than Villa and City.

Of course it is now difficult but we still have enough good players in the team to recover and aren't that far behind. The match tomorrow is huge.

Now Modric is back Spurs probably won't have as much trouble against the bus parkers and Man City should be much better now that Hughes is gone.

It'll be tough and I wouldn't risk any money on it but I think we'll just about manage it.

Best player on the pitch by far <Ale>

WHU need a set piece in a good position to have any chance but don't have the pace to get in behind Spurs so look unlikely to get it No

Tomkins is class... but saying he is best player on the pitch by far today, it's hype on Arsenal's level. It's so one-sided game, that pointing out that it's actually WHU player who does great is just scratch

Spurs are going to blow this if they're not careful.

They've had 201 chances and still only 1-0.

When did Defoe last score, was it recent or ages ago?

    2-0

Defoe creates space for himself and hits a ferocious shot at Green. The goalkeeper parries it back out and Defoe smashes the rebound in.

Good stuff. Defoe needs to fix his attitude because IMO he can be among the best strikers in the game, he just seems a lil weak mentally sometimes.

The 2nd Spurs goal is the only time that a 20 year old CB has been less than perfect today and you think I'm hyping him by saying he's been by far the best player ?

Would you care to name a better one rather than just sneering ?

He will still get 6 or 7/10 in the papers 'cos they only rate crude CB's like Terry, Vidic and Big Gay Sol.

Lennon has been good but only in spells.

Green has to do better with the 1st Defoe shot.

WHU are Arsenal without pace - its no wonder they've lost some big leads.

Capable of some very intricate passing moves but physically poor - losing parker was a massive blow.

Del Monte has a lovely drop of the shoulder but no end product today.

They'll be fine if they don't lose players in January. Upson Dyer Noble Cole Parker and Green are all good quality and they have decentish around them, when half the base are not there they look shite.

DelMonte, as I have been saying all season, is all show and very very little product. Especially if he cant get a penalty. Carbone.

They were doing too much passing today either. Lots of defending though.

Im going to look at this list.

    Upson - Decent.
    Dyer - Doesnt really exist.
Noble - Seems to be having a shit season.
Cole - Best player, still doesnt get enough goals and now he's injured.
    Parker - Good.
    Green - Pretty good.

Thats the base of a relegated team.
