No mate, my mates i would have gone with couldnt afford it after we have forked out £85 for the home and away semi final, i just watched it on a stream. Did you go ? I think about 3,000, would have been more but some got turned away cos the motorway was really bad with snow or something.
Wasnt the best game but with the players we were missing im v happy just to get through and another clean sheet is always good.

Ramsey is going to be a special player. I haven't yet joined to wilshere bandwagon...but I have already been convinced by this fella's talents.. he has very good vision...even today he made a 50 yard pass down the ground to Vela's run..then another 40 yarder to Eduardo..man, this boy is a genius.he also has skill and technique to control and pass...loved the backheel assist last season against wigan or sheffield?..he also had a good backheeler today...his shooting is top class..does it with both feet...which is his stronger foot? I'm confused..he scores great goals with either foot and could pass just as brilliantly with both..BEST BRITISH TALENT SINCE WAYNE ROONEY..you heard it here first...

Nah I didnt go. Dont think we had many there at all anyway.
Roads were pretty bad all round so yeah, that wouldnt surprise me.
We've got alot missing too so im just glad we didnt get completely raped. Some reports say we had a decent game so thats not so bad. Considering we went into the game with our striker options as a 16 yr old, a 19 yr old..and Marcus "Goals?" Bent..and then lost Johnson to another hamstring injury im not surprised we couldnt score.
If we can put that much effort in against sides in our division then we might have a chance of getting into the play offs again.

Hype . But another very impressive performance. Plays very much like Farbregas does, which is never a bad thing.
Vela had a poor first half but once moved out to the left, grew in confidence and was running at players at will. Very good to see. Naturally, he benefited from the openness of the game but very dangerous. Would like him to start on the left next game.
Diaby was very impressive when he came on.
Wilshere had a fine game, not quite used to the added physicality of this level yet but still looked decent.
How does Silvestre still manage to play?

Being able to run at will must be an advantage to a professional footballer.

So not ready for the World Cup squad then?

Silvestre is a detriment to society.
Anyway a good comeback, didn't think we were going to win at all. If we did lose it would have allowed us to concentrate on the league and CL though.
Onwards and upwards, just hope we get some players back asap.
Pissed off about getting Stoke as well though.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
Ramsey is beginning to look like a real player, he'll probably be ready for a starting place in 6 months, which will be some consolation to Gooners when Fabregas joins Barcelona in the summer.
I like him, he reminds me a lot of Joseph Ndo. How much did he cost? £5m? Bargain

Idioms.
Well, to unnecessarily elaborate on my point as you know exactly what i mean, he seemed to be lacking confidence throughout the first half but when moved to the left, he was far more positive in his movement and dribbling, also looking to put the defender on the back foot. Pulled off a lovely piece of skill towards the end.
I'd take Lennon to the World Cup in front of him. Hopefully he'll get some playing time if he goes on loan.

It is one of the sillier footballing idioms I think. As though the other players run or pass or shoot or find space purely by accident.

I've always quite liked and rated Vela, and sure, he was far more confident and positive when playing from the left.

Lennon should probably be starting on the right hand side, not just in the squad. Silly billy.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
This one got very good passing technique, and an awesome shooting technique. Is two-footed and is physically strong for his age and fully suits for the position.. Got a great balance and shields the ball well..passes it when he had to, his decision making is class.
I judge how good a player is by first touch and control..Since Joe Cole and Wayne Rooney, I am seeing a 18 year old british talent possess such promise...
Admittedly all this will improve..

Ramsey is real quality, this isn't another Jenas or Huddlestone situation. Imagine Lionel Messi and Michael Carrick had a baby, it would look like Scott Mathias and play football like Aaron Ramsey.

Re: FA Cup 3rd Round
Nile Ranger hadn't done what Ramsey did in international, CL and PL games.
He plays in League Championship. So I haven't seen him play but if he had similar abilities of Ramsey (first touch, balance, control, passing, shooting, etc), then I'd rate him too..
To be fair, I have only been impressed by Cleverly(Watford) in lower leagues.
