Happy with the point and glad to hear that we played well. Too bad I was too wasted after last night to watch it Doh
Thankfully game was aired on polish C+, so I will catch a re-run.
Question - how in the hell we managed to play well with Cahill and Fellaini in the centre midfield?

I thought Cahill was playing as a second striker, or atleast the most offensive of the 5 man midfield.

Aha, I thought Donovan was second striker. So it looks now that Pienaar and Donovan were playing outwide, Osman and Fellaini at centre, and Cahill as second striker. This way we are playing for a few weeks, only with Donovan replacing Bilyatdinov.

Exactly right Stinger. Pienaar on the left, Donovan on the right.

It's the way forward for us, with Arteta replacing Osman and Jagielka replacing Neill in the near (hopefully) future. And then we will be back being a dangerous team again.

Man Utds central midfield, is so uncreative its painful. At least Anderson provides some energy in there..Carrick and Scholes are snails. Fletcher does what he does..but has probably just injured himself being a bit of an idiot.

    Diouf to save the day????????????????????????

Who is this Diouf fella ? Didn't know about him until reading an article the other day.

Should he not be shooting practice at the minute in Angola ?

Let's hope he is another addition to Fergie's increasingly long line of shite signings

Anderson is disappointing, borocooper. Both him and Gibson need to be ashamed of wearing the reds shirt after their disgraceful performance against Leeds. Admitted that Leeds had a brilliant Howson pass and in-form Beckford to thank. But United were very uncreative in the middle with Anderson and Gibson. Deservedly dropped IMO. ok

I agree he isnt very creative..but at least he's not a slug like Carrick and Scholes.

The fact he can actually run forwards would be something different.

Playing 5 with not enough movement on the wings and choked there creativity I guess Only Valencia has done something on the right. Park is not effective enough on the left.

We were really shit, so a draw isn't a bad result all things considered. Everton were unlucky not to win, but they specialise in grinding out undeserved results so I don't have too much sympathy for them. No one was better than average for Arsenal today, and Almunia was a long way below that level. Bloody cold out there today, and I spent the second half getting coated in snow - despite being ten rows back in the upper tier!

Man Utd goal: Confusion reigns at St Andrew's as United celebrate an equaliser - while the linesman flags furiously. Paul Scholes's shot is blocked but the ball comes to Patrice Evra, who drives the ball in for Ji-Sung Park but Scott Dann gets there first, deflecting into his own net. Mark Clattenburg runs over to the linesman and they have a bit of a chat before the ref awards the goal. The linesman appears to have been flagging for offside against Wayne Rooney, but Clattenburg seems to think he's not interfering.

Red card for Fletcher. It was a fairly minor foul, except for the fact that it stopped Birmingham running at the Man Utd defence. A little harsh though.

Followed by another decent save from Kuszczak.
