I think he wants your team among players you have seen playing in a world cup - live on tv.

So if your first WC you have seen was in 1994 you may include players from 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2006...

I am talking 7 world cups - its very difficult!!!! Somehow I just cannot fit in players like Zico, Maldini, Romario.... they should be in there as well! And I know my midfield formation is screwed, but those were probably the best 4 midfielders I have seen in world cup games....

It was that kind of era, tweedy, when you were little. Why don't you pick a team of players from the same period who never played in Serie A, and compare it with my team? I think you will understand....

As for Buffon, its no secret how highly I rate him. For me, Buffon was the best player of WC2006, not Cannavaro. And Buffon should ve been WPOTY that year. But yes, it can be argued, depends on your perspective. The team I selected is as per my perspective.

As much as Ronaldo is not liked by many fans he is in my opinion easy one of the best players off all time for his skills alone. Zidane I wanted to put in there but was looking for a more balanced side Ronaldo and Maradona are more different together not as narrow than Mara and Zee would be.

Yes Buffon was that great. The others are good shouts, but you have to pick one in the end.

I don't think Zidane is an automatic choice for everyone.
