As said before it's hard to to judge Maxi atm cause we are playing utter shite.
I'll reserve judgement for now.
Babel was diabolical yet again. If people want to slate Lucas, Kuyt, Maxi for today fair enough. They were all poor as was Gerrard btw. But this clown was just as bad if not worse. The others you know give their all more often than not but not Babel. He put in some effort at the beginning, like 15 minutes but reverted back to his selfish, non tracking back, can't excute a simple 5 yard pass, gutless, lazy ways.
I was comparing him to A. Johnson today, and while Johnson was a mixed bag himself, but he worked himself into the ground and showed some flashes of brilliance. As well as being able control a ball and never shied away despite the odd misplaced pass. I'd take Johnson over Babel without any hesitation.
