    30 goals, 6 assist in 35 for rooney.

    the two best players in the world currently.

    Unfortunately, goals are pretty much the only way of measuring these things, so I think this would be a fair assumption.

    The other two usual suspects - Ronaldo and Kaka, are not having great seasons by their standards.

    If Villa were playing for a CL club, I'd put him up there too. Phenomenal scoring rate for Spain, and his La Liga tally isn't too shabby either.

    example this time next year Bojan has 30 goals would that make him currently one of the world's best?

    @Pele

    Rooney has to keep. This form for another two years than only then he could be called one of the best in the world.

    Ronaldo is having good season even though he was out of two months 22 goals in 22 games. One trick you are so silly LOL

    Beats me, I *never* saw that much in him to be honest...

    He clearly parasited on Seedorf and Gatusso at Milan.

    He was unplayable from 2004-2007 but during 06-07 when Sheva left Kaka stepped up but you are right Seedorf was very key.

    Shit example, Rooney has been performing at the highest level for years now, this season has just been is breakout season in the goals for column.

    Like how is was messi's breakout season last year and ronaldo's the season before that, it terms of goals scored.

    Don't want to go around in circles with you on this one my man,

    but the way you go about this is as though Rooney has never proven himself at European and International level.

    Inwhich case, where have you been the last few years?

    The main criticism levelled at his game was regular goalscoring.

    The Bojan example is just terrible, considering both Messi and Rooney have played important roles for their club at CL level, and also internationally. It's not like either is a new face on the scene, suddenly coming out of nowhere and unproven.

    You are silly sometimes EM LOL
