No, I heard they have kept 100m aside for going after Robben & Sneijder Razz

Jokes apart, IMO Real don't really need Ribery. I would go for Vargas, Kolarov, & perhaps a top experienced CB like Carvalho/Juan. Vargas + Kolarov could solve Real's left side issue completely, and will probably come cheaper than Ribery.

To me, that looks one experienced CB short for a top club. Carvalho or Juan would make a difference, like Lucio is at Inter.

Yeah I don't quite trust Carvalho anymore. Juan though is still class and I wouldn't mind him but I don't think Roma would exactly give him away cheaply since he is the rock in their defence.

But in general I agree that I would like an experienced head in defence. Pepe could potentially become one of the best both in the world but at times I think he lacks the mentality to get rough or just keep it simple.

I probably watch more of Chelsea than you, mate. I just rate Carvalho, he is gifted... I wouldn't mind having him at Inter - he would start over Lucio IMO. He has a season or two left in him.

We aren't Chelsea or Inter. Carvalho won't be protected by a horde of facking runners if he comes here. Old + slow defenders are absolutely the last thing we need.

Yeah, Carvalho was good but putting him in the Real Madrid team is so 2005. They really don't have a problem with defenders right now.

Maybe, but the point is that you could do an experienced defender in your mix. But like I said, your key objectives should be around left side players, and Vargas & Kolarov are as good options as any....

Not even I am not impressed by the current RM CB pairing but come to think of it the whole back five needs surgery.

A new GK is needed(Iker needs a challenge for sure Dudek ain't going to provide it)

A new RB(Move Ramos into the centre I think Azpilicueta is the answer at RB)

David Luiz as the New LB but we all know he can provide cover in the other full back position as well centrally.

    Pepe to return.

Now going back to Carvalho yes he is getting old but I still think he would be a major upgrade on Garay/Albiol these guys don't impress me at all.

Well im not a big fan of Abidol or Garay...but Pepe looks suspect to me a lot of the time. Ramos seemed a natural CB but not sure how he'd fair there. On paper they have a lot of good CB's but not sure if it works out. But Carvalho is past his best and a bit of a liability...i don't think he's what they need to be honest. Vidic would be great for them someone to dominate the air and be the dominant defender...Pepe next to him would be perfect assuming Pepe has pace which i think he does. But that's all ridiculous speculation since that transfer probably wont come close to happening.
