Apparently release clause of Luciano Vietto is only 20m euro

So he's pretty much gone during the summer, unless he will decide that 1-2 more years of development in Villarreal (with improved contract of course) will be the best decision for him. But these days it's rarely the case.

This mandatory buy-out clause in players contracts is ruining La Liga. It pisses me off.

A couple of RM rumours:
1. Apparently José Luis Gayà has rejected a new deal from Valencia meaning that with Coentrao almost surely leaving this summer, the path is cleared for him to sign for RM. I really love Gayà he's much better than Bernat even who has been hyped to death since he signed for Bayern.
2. RM now being linked with Leverkusen goalkeeper Leno. I know almost nothing about him but apparently the fee Man Utd will demand for De Gea is "prohibitive". I still think De Gea is Florentino's main target. Time will tell.

They must have reworked his contract then, because initially it was 10m. I remember Sid Lowe or someone mentioned that figure in January.

Bernat's been keeping David Alaba, one of the best fullbacks anywhere atm, out of his best position (LWB), causing him to play in peripheral positions instead... If nothing else speaks for Bernat, that certainly does.

But is he really? I thought Alaba is playing as LCB just because with him there it's easier for Guardiola to switch between 3 and 4-man defense during matches, as he can move him all over the pitch. Alaba and Mueller are two most versatile Bayern players.

True to an extent, but then Guardiola would prefer to have a healthy Badstuber in the LCB position (as has been proven already), and Lahm and Xabi Alonso or Schweinsteiger in the middle, and Bernat on the left side of midfield... If Alaba were a more important factor than Bernat or Badstuber, he would be starting there, but the games so far have shown that, in the important matches at least, B&B are prioritized.

It is also worth mentioning that Bernat has had six more appearances than Alaba, and if I recall correctly they have both been healthy all year (actually Alaba is injured atm).

Pep also prefers Thiago Alcantara to Kroos so I don't know if his opinion really means anything.

RM just signed Danilo from Porto. 30m ffs. I guess it means the end of Arbeloa which from a footballing standpoint is ok because I don't think he has that much left but from the standpoint of a guy who is madridista through and through, it's a shame. I hate Porto and Benfica. Doing business with the Portuguese is a horrible idea. Always! Really doesn't make sense to me to spend that kind of money when we already have Carvajal. Sounds like Gaya will be signed in the next couple of weeks. The best thing about Danilo is that Farsa really wanted him haha. Too busy untangling the Neymar mess I suppose.

I think they are worried about his injuries this year. Of course it makes no logical sense. Arbeloa is fine as a backup and we have Nacho who can play right back as well. But I suppose when someone gets called "The Next Cafu" we're bound to pay a bizillion euro for him.

So apparently the option to buy clause in Chicharito's loan deal expired yesterday.

*Big rumour for today, Simeone is trying to lure Tevez to Atletico. He wants to dump both Mandzukic and Raul Jimenez. Apparently Tevez has a big offer from PSG but Atletico are going to make a big push for him. Tevez, Griezmann and Torres is a pretty good group of forwards.

*Cheryshev being linked with a move to Liverpool. I really liked the idea of him playing for RM next year but I could understand the player if he does not think he will get a lot of minutes with Bale and Ronaldo taking up the wide positions. 20m is the rumoured price tag. Not sure what his buyout is.

*Valencia looking at possibly signing Roberto from Olympiakos. He started in Atletico and then to Zaragoza. Pretty good GK with CL experience. Obviously big doubts over Diego Alves with his knee injury.

*PSG are in love with Krychowiak, apparently. His buyout is 30m and supposedly they want to pay it to form a midfield of Verratti-Krychowiak. Would be pretty good but I hope Sevilla can hold on to the Polish midfielder.

*Kondogbia's agent saying that RM have made enquiries. Of course agents talk all kinds of shit but I do really like Kondogbia. No idea how much he would cost, but probably a lot.

*Halilovic wants out. Barza B are probably gonna finish dead last in Segunda. Of course he is too shit for the 1st team and he thinks he will rot in Segunda B. La Masia really doing great these days.

Jackson Martinez to Valencia. It could happen.

Atletico linked with Vietto and Salah.

A forward who can beat players and can create chances for themselves is something that Valencia needs. Alcacer is decent but he is a poacher. He would be a good substitute to bring on for Jackson Martinez.
