Doesnt matter if he can always get there though..its like saying its surprising how no defenders have cottoned on to the fact Messi always cuts inside..they know, they just cant do anything about it.
Obviously he's not that good, but it must still be hard to stop if he's quick and strong enough.
I guess you're right, but there's ways of avoiding that I guess, show him on his inside for example?
He hasn't shown me anything sufficient enough to convince me he's United standard.
You'd think so..maybe it just isnt that easy for them to do it. You would think they'd just do it otherwise.
I think he's been good for them this season anyway..the sort of player they were missing. Someone who is just very direct with the ball at their feet..looks for a cross rather than a trick or a shot. Quick and strong too.

Romford Pele wrote:In my opinion, I think your generalising.
I have never met an Arsenal fan with a realistic view of Arsenal's players. This is not a generalisation, I literally haven't. Every single one that I've had any contact with has bought into the unrealistic PR.
There have been many a time when I have criticised our players in the past and present. Seems more like you have selective viewing to me.
You're confusing the possibility of Arsenal fans criticising their players and the possibility of that constituting a realistic view of those players. 9 times out of 10 the criticism of a player is because 'they didn't play to their usual standard' rather than because they aren't actually that good.
I'm not going to lie, your posts do annoy me 99% of the time. Whether you're looking to WUM or whether you truly believe this is not of my concern, but whatever.
If I could watch and read about football without having to put up with a constant stream of bullshit being spoken by ex-Arsenal players and shit journalists then I wouldn't seek to piss off all Arsenal fans. But there literally isn't a newspaper or TV channel that covers football that is free from this garbage. The fact you can't see this only shows how insular Arsenal fans are. They just can't see how fans of other clubs feel this way.
Seems to me like you view things with rose-tinted glasses, because I know many Arsenal fans, myself included who will offer you a reasoned and balanced view on our side, but I'm pretty sure you choose to ignore this.
I've yet to see a reasonable or balanced opinion of the Barca game from an Arsenal fan. If you can point one out to me then feel free.

Decent last 10 minutes for United. Chavs are letting them through far too easily.

Realistic view? Just because a view differs to yours means it's not realistic?
I'm not sure I agree with you there. You used to criticise Cesc for not being that good, but it seems only recently that you've begun to agree with everyone.
The crap being spoken by ex-players and journalists can't be the fault of the fans can it? Even I don't agree with them. There's quite a few Arsenal blogs where people will give you a reasoned or balanced arguement.
In the CL thread and Arsenal threads there are a few examples. Most including Arsenal fans have highlighted the fact that Barcelona are better, no disputing that.
We've also discussed the fact that tactically our manager isn't the best, and often makes plain obvious mistakes. No-one will deny the fact we should have been battered but weren't. There were arguably a few decisions which went for and against us, but as has been discussed before every elite club gets these sort of decisions.

Anelka 12 games without a goal
I assume they'll definitely be in the market for a striker in the summer.

Anelka off, Drog on.
Neville and Scholes receive their last warning. Odds on United finishing with 9 men?

Lol, you missed understood both. I was shocked how United were trying to claim a penalty for that. By '>' I just meant that Kalou was coming on for Cole.

Why bother, when you'll just repeat it prefixed with 'so it's because they don't agree with you that...'?
