It's up there with Fergie leaving himself with Owen, Diouf, Berbatov and Macheda (New multi million pound mexican midget to no doubt be added to this list next season).

Modric the midfield enforcer gets the first booking. Arsenal dominating possession, doing fuck all with it, and conceding with the first real shot on target. Some things never change!
And now Almunia shows that he can catch a ball.

This game is so open. We are almost certainly going to get raped on the break in the 2nd half with Camp-bell and Silvestre in defence

A second chance, and almost a second goal. The defence parted for Modric but Almunia came out quickly and smothered his shot. Arsenal are sticking to their principles and refusing to shoot whenever they have the ball thirty yards from goal.

We've probably been the better side but have been completely ineffectual. A frustrating half, especially with Spurs scoring a goal out of nothing. They've probably had the more dangerous opportunities but haven't had much of the ball. Hopefully they will tire in the second half because they've done a lot of running. We probably need to bring Walcott on in the second half, at least he might try to go beyond the defenders, the rest just stop when in sight of the Spurs area. Someone needs to get sacked at our training ground, yet another muscular injury when the player wasn't even over-exerting himself, it's ridiculous.

are you alex ferguson in disguise? Interesting mind games there- its not like we ve got our strongest team out there Tonight.Sheffield gunner wrote:Arsenal don't want to take the ball inside the Spurs box today. He's being taken off. Silvestre and Campbell, if Spurs can't break their league duck against us tonight they never will.

According to Lewin you don't get any more injuries than the other sides who play a lot of games.

St. Arsechinham's Day 2010

True, but you're one nil up against a team with Campbell, Silvestre and Almunia at the heart of the defence, and our best players in many other position missing. It's as good an opportunity as you've had for many years.
Dr Adel Sabah, so I heard. Maybe he has evidence to the contrary, but I don't believe him.

Wonder if O'Neill's substitions will be
a) Smart tactical changes early on in the 2nd half to change the course of the game
b) Heskey brought on for a defender with less than 20 mins to go

Ha ha ha its too early glen, you ve now jinxed it. However, this made me laugh for all its worth. In a pub pretty much smack inbetween highbury and tottenham. Its feisty, its supposed to be a spurs pub but as is the way a group of gooners have turned up to set the cat amongst the cockerels. As danny dyer would say, my bum is flapping in the wind, could be a tear upbuy aion gold wrote:St. Arsechinham's Day 2010
