Good, was wrong to go to CAS anyway. It seems like we can't accept UEFA punishments (even when i agree that it wasn't inentional and 3 games is too much)

Altintop will play a good game, i am shure

2-1 Inter: Olic puts Bayern ahead with a penalty after Samuel is penalised for shirt pulling. Sneijder equalises from a free kick and Milito wins it in the dying seconds with a scrappy goal. Cue

The last 15 min in Manchester were already great, kept the ball away from their players nearly all the time.
Against Lyon, we did it for the most part of the game as well as against Bremen last weekend.

You could really see a progress during this season.

Agree with Blut, dont know why it was unwatchable? All of our knockout stage home games were deserved wins (even if they were lucky or late) but we were the better team. Fio and ManU away were very bad first halfs. But 2nd halves we played actually some football.

It was laboured, it wasn't creative and you managed to sneak two late goals, one a wicked deflection and one a mistake against a United team that was happy to sit back with an early goal secured. It was anything but the exciting football Van Gaal is claiming in didn't get close to the quality Inter produced against Barca and Chelsea. Not even close. You barely got a kick in the second leg until Rafael needlessly got himself sent off.

I only watched the awful first leg against Lyon so missed what may have been a better match to watch Bayern away to Lyon. Against Fiorentina you were also poor to watch.

My problem is this condescending attitude from Van Gaal more than anything (althought it is probably just a windup). Inter have outperformed Bayern this year so what he is saying is simply not true.

I think there is a difference in late goals and deserved wins. We didn't play bad and would have deserved a goal earlier imo in those games. Late goals always seem lucky, esp if one was because of a ref mistake. That doesn't change the fact that we had the chances in this game to win it the normal way.

I also don't like the fact you say we were lucky with the wins, when Chelsea could have a clear cut penalty in Milan. A 2-2 and it doesn't look that good. Of course Inter were the better team in both legs here, no arguing but both teams had their luck in one way or the other.

The thing is: Inters defense is better and more stable. That fact alone makes their games look much more detached. They handled the pressure in the away legs much better and that helps to make their games look more "controlled" whereas we looked like we would get slaughtered in some games in teh beginning.

Outperfomred in terms of playing more mature yes, outperformed in playing with a better style...hm not so much. And like I said, I think this vG system is just at the beginning. It got better over time and i expect to see more of that next season...

Inter have been performed against the 2 favourites. I don't think any of their results have been undeserved either. Bayern have rarely looked like a quality side except against Lyon in any extended periods.

I thought they were decent enough against Man Utd but only after Man Utd lost a man but even then they barely created any chances. Bayern deserves to be in the final but they didn't reach with great football and I doubt it will even be remembered as such.

Not necessarily : they have at least *tried* to.

Which in some cases made for an open match in which the opponent looked stronger at times.

You can also look at it from the other side : have you seen Bayern park the bus in the knockout stages ?

They looked neither convincing or beautiful but I get your point but it doesn't change that I have enjoyed Inter's attacking football more then Bayerns. First of all because Inter have played some nice ball against the best sides and Bayern's goals have not been too impressive at all in terms of team play.

Inter has shown more sides of themselves. When they have needed to attack they did that(vs Chelsea,vs CSKA,vs Barca home) and they have needed to be solid they have done so as well(vs Chelsea away,Barca away). With the current Bayern side you get the feeling that in the right conditions they could have been spanked big time by a good team. I do give credit to Van Gaal who has organised the side and I must admit they have improved as the tournie has gone but they need better players this summer imo. Just like with the Italian teams I think Bayern should have a solid defence which is one thing they used to have. Like their national team they need more traditional German virtues. I won't be surprised if they will be a better side next year even if they win this years Cl.

what a facking bullshit most here talking

we humiliated manu without schweini and robben at home, and in old trafford too (red card is part of the game), i dont think that many teams can dominate manu at home, even when they are with 10 men

i dont need anything to say about the lyon games

firoentina is a one hit year wonder they played over there limits and without pressure
