IF Inter wins the CL final, we will have done something very few CL winners have done and that is having beaten the champions of the major Euro leagues in the course of the CL campaign.
great achievement indeed!

But you could see it growing more and more.
The last 15 min in Manchester were already great, kept the ball away from their players nearly all the time.
Against Lyon, we did it for the most part of the game as well as against Bremen last weekend.
You could really see a progress during this season.
CL GS was bullshit ofc.

2-0 Chelsea. DDA and Malouda. You heard it here first.

Against United Bayern played unwatchable football in both legs while 11 men were on the pitch.
Van Gaal is talking nonsense and hopefully Mourinho proves it

Agree with Blut, dont know why it was unwatchable? All of our knockout stage home games were deserved wins (even if they were lucky or late) but we were the better team. Fio and ManU away were very bad first halfs. But 2nd halves we played actually some football.

It was laboured, it wasn't creative and you managed to sneak two late goals, one a wicked deflection and one a mistake against a United team that was happy to sit back with an early goal secured. It was anything but the exciting football Van Gaal is claiming in didn't get close to the quality Inter produced against Barca and Chelsea. Not even close. You barely got a kick in the second leg until Rafael needlessly got himself sent off.

My problem is this condescending attitude from Van Gaal more than anything (althought it is probably just a windup). Inter have outperformed Bayern this year so what he is saying is simply not true.

I only watched the awful first leg against Lyon so missed what may have been a better match to watch Bayern away to Lyon. Against Fiorentina you were also poor to watch.

So Bayern have played beautful football or what ?
They looked neither convincing or beautiful but I get your point but it doesn't change that I have enjoyed Inter's attacking football more then Bayerns. First of all because Inter have played some nice ball against the best sides and Bayern's goals have not been too impressive at all in terms of team play.Axeslammer wrote:Super Madrid wrote:Messiah wrote:Van gaal

Not necessarily : they have at least *tried* to.
Which in some cases made for an open match in which the opponent looked stronger at times.
You can also look at it from the other side : have you seen Bayern park the bus in the knockout stages ?
