Its so strange how Roma keep going after temperamental inconsistent talents with mental issues... If Adriano has sorted his mental/drinking problems, then its a great deal for Roma... if not, then its a waste... either way, Totti will ve a party bud

Yup. Official, Adriano signs for Roma. I'm not sure what he has been doing at Flamengo, looks like he has scored about 20 goals, and consistently played so perhaps he got his act together. I hope for the sake of Roma he can keep it together, but I don't think he deserves this chance at all.
I just read somewhere, that Milan is going to spend 80 million on Ibra. For anyone that wanted to laugh a little. I hear Milan has a "big" transfer planned this summer, but with "big" transfer Barca Milan meant spending 15 million if that even.

If Adriano can continue his form from Brazil Roma will look quite decent:
---------------Julio Sergio------------
Motta/Cassetti--Burdisso-Juan--Riise
--------------Pizzaro---De Rossi
----------Menez---Totti/Perrota----Vucinic
-------------------Adriano-------
When you consider their problems financially they have a pretty good team.

If they give us Kaka + 45m, we could talk...
Also, if they want Maicon, give us Ramos + 45m
And for Milito, give us Higuain + 45m.

Players at juve who are good enough: buffon, chiellini, marchisio and perhaps (a big perhaps at that) diego, giovinco and iaquinta.
The rest are not up to it or -sadly- past it.
Sissoko, poulson, legrottaglie, zebina, amauri, salihamidzic, melo, grygera etc are not good enough; the only place for such players in a top quality squad is warming the far reaches of the bench or cleaning boots on the training ground.
Delps, camoranesi and Trez are all beyond criticism in my book as they have been great servants to the club. Sadly they are past their best now and shouldn’t be starting for a top team.
As for who they should buy, hmmmmmm, never easy these things but a CM pass machine is a must. Perhaps some wingers worth the name (depending on formation) and a striker to score the goals that iaquinta and amauri never manage to do.
The defence needs major work, with only buffon and chiellini good enough to stay and start. So at least one RB, one LB and one CB. As for who… god knows.
Amauri and sissoko should just retire and save us all the pain of having to watch them TRY to play football.

IMO Melo is more than good enough, we have seen him at Viola. Your coaches have tried to play him as a regista, and thats just wrong. Melo is an awesome DM.
Amauri's shite season is a shock to everyone... how can a player who looked like a Drogba clone for so long, suddenly become a Hesky? If I were Juve, I would give him another shot with a better coach.
Zac has made even world class players look like shite in the past....

the axis of anti-football Melo and Sissoko depresses me. I want them gone
Melo could be ok on his own in the right formation but im not convinced.
As for amauri... well, ive never been impressed. Drogba without the goals, workrate, pace or footballing ability. Just has the attitude: awesome.
HOw many coaches has he had now at Juve? 4? or is it 3? oh im too lazy to look it up but at no point has he been truly impressive. His first few months were ok but the regression since then has been flabbergasting.

I still don't know how on earth Zac could give us scudetto in his first year,,on the paper we played a very offensive formation (3-4-3) but very defensive on the field

Buffon ends speculation over his future at Juventus & confirms that he is staying
It's been a admirable trait of some of our heroes like Delps, Nedved & Buffon to come out and commit when the club was in crisis.
Buffon mentioned something that I find very apt:
“This season shows that Ranieri was not the problem. We had finished a cycle and didn't realise it,” Buffon concluded
The problem were Secco, Blanc & Gigli indeed! It's all behind us now. The management is in place now. I am kind of getting to like the idea of Del Neri as the coach. To begin with, he is talking some sense and fresh ideas. Now it is up to the transfer strategy that we execute. And defense is the area we need to nail first

There seems to be a battle starting between Inter's last 2 coaches on who will get Maicon... latest is that Mancio City ve offered £30 Million for the brasilian....
IMO Maicon is the best fullback in the world. Players like him are irreplacable. But I guess after some point, the money will be hard to turn down... wonder what that point is for Inter... 40m plus Marcelo?

Nah.... tho I was pissed at Moratti when he sacked him, there is no point in bringing him back...
Among the probables, I think a surprise candidate will be Dunga. I actually will not mind that so much.... I know his style is not much liked over here, and that perhaps it does not suit brasil that much, but IMO he has the potential to become a great coach... I always thought that even when Dunga was a player, you could see that he had some coaching potential.
A bit like Cambiasso - I bet Cuchu will become a great coach one day.

He is the front runner according to most papers in Italy as well. But clearly, he will not discuss it till the world cup for England is over....
The question is whether Moratti is ready to wait that long, or should he wait that long?
Maybe if your brave warriors knock Engly out in the 1st round, we may have our coach in time

cuper
The man has been so damn close to triumph with valencia and inter and ended up with a fistful of nothing, he bloody deserves another chance.
Anyway I'm not sure if he would work.
Pellegrini is a good coach, so is Hiddink.
Dunga I think is a valuable option, anyway he's also WC bound and a noob on club stage.
Capello is the only name I'd be sure it's worth the effort.
Be damned if I know who we'll get.
Thought Sinisa was close but apparently it's just not going to happen. Maybe it's better both for us and for his career.
I'm sure the club will choose before the WC, if we end up with an NT coach the announcement wll be most probably postponed till his team is done with the cup, but the choice has to be settled before.

Yeah, if its someone like Capello, we better take his views on who he would like to buy asap and get working on the transfer market... don't wanna Inter to lose the best buys, and some players will be very pricey after the world cup...

Inter's last 2 coaches are rumoured to start a bidding war for Maicon, which will make him the most expensive transfer for a defender....
I hope this does not happen, but Mou & Mancio both know how key Maicon is, and they both have a big budget... we may not be able to stop this one

You still have Santon and Zanetti to play Maicon's role and with the money you can buy Vargas,so no need for the
