Straight swap of Toure and Hleb for Cesc?

That would be beautifull.... but I think 20m + Toure, (maybe lowering to 15m if we include Hleb)...
Still this means that we have to find another 25m or so to get a defensive mid and a rb...

I really hate this agent. Of course this "bankrupt" comment could mearly be a tactic in order to prove a point to Citeh and get them to raise any future offer.
Will Laporta/Rossell really waste their time by offering Yaya + say £5m?

The new rumour today is indeed Toure plus 10m euros. We're asking City and Chelsea for 35m euros for Toure, so this new bid is effectively valuing Cesc at 45m euros. I don't see this as a waste of time, I think it's a sensible next step in the negotiations.

They will be wasting their time making any bid whatsoever judging from comments by PHW and co.
Frankly i'm fed up with Barca, their arrogance knows no bound. Hala Madrid!
Kas thinking Toure + 10m euros is a fair offer for Cesc
Those 2 players are worlds apart, u can get billion water carriers in France alone to play the role Toure plays for Barca, whilst Cesc is unique - no where in the world would u find a CM with better passing and vision combined(Yes i said it, don't care that some jokers here might laught at that statement). Not even the great Xavi has got better vision. He should be going for atleast twice whatever Toure is worth. But anyway that's not even worth discussing, HE'S NOT FOR SALE!

Probably is if the right money comes in..
and to be fair to Barca..at least they're trying to buy a footballer. Rather than kidnap and get sexxxxxxxxxy with one.

Also - bad news for Barcelona. Florentino has gone on the record saying that Madrid will not sign Cesc.

Is Toure worth 35m euros? Not really. Barcelona are just putting the price up because they know City have lots of cash to waste. Furthermore Fab worth more than 10m euros than Toure. That's a rip off deal.

Another day, another repetitive question by a journalist to a Barça player.
btw, Messi also spoke about him
And have you seen this:
OMG they really put a Barça shirt on him
OMG what disrespect. How can they do that. Disgraceful
Except you did last season as well

Cesc's heart is in Barca though, I don't think anyone can argue that; he grew up there, he's part of the Spain family and he's tired of Wenger failing to spend big every year.

Well, it is a ridiculous case of tapping up. Anyway, good luck finding the money to afford him.

Barcelona are such a disgusting club. According to Cruijff this week their future is very uncertain. How on earth can a broke club get loans from broke banks from a broke country? Why is UEFA not doing anything about this? This aint really fair to clubs who work with smaller budgets but do have a healty financial situation. Barca is cheating. They should sign Suarez.
Still poor Arsenal, even at a WC they get humiliated.

Another day, another opportunity for a Barcelona player to say "no comment" but opts out because the big bad people at El Mundo and Sport won't be so generous in the 'Player ratings' next season.
I can understand Pique being in on the prank a bit more as he is still young and Cesc's best friend. Puyol being club captain should know better.

"He (Fabregas) is a great player that would add a lot to the team," said Busquets.
"But we have to respect that he is owned by another club that is not Barcelona, that he is an Arsenal player and, for the time being, there's nothing to be done."
Highly controversial comments by Sergio there

Barcelona have confirmed they have €50 million (£41.7m) to spend in the transfer market this summer.
The Spanish giants were forced to seal a five-year €155 million loan on Wednesday in order to resolve long-term cash-flow problems.
Since June Barca have had issues regarding player and staff wages and new president Sandro Rosell has set about resolving the club's finances.
The Catalans have already secured a move for former Valencia striker David Villa this summer, for €40 million, while there is the ongoing transfer saga with Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas.
Spain midfielder Fabregas was forced into a Barca shirt by team-mates during his country's World Cup celebrations, and the La Liga champions will be hoping their transfer budget will be enough to lure him to the Nou Camp.
"The club has approximately €50 million net to spend on new players each season," said a statement on the club's official website.
"In the case of this season, buying David Villa (€40 million) combined with the sales of Yaya Toure and Dmytro Chygrynskiy balance themselves out.
"This means the club still has €50 million to spend."
Barca have already had a bid of €35 million (£29m) for Fabregas rejected by the Gunners, and they are expected to up that offer.
It remains to be seen if funds from further player sales will be added to the kitty, as speculation regarding the futures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Rafael Marquez continues.

You lot are soooo paranoid... He aint coming to Barcelona.. As for the whole whining about tapping up, I cant believe that you are using that.. Just how did you lot sign him????
But calm down... he will join next season for 15-20m or so, after another trophyless season at the Emirates.

"I do not regret anything I (have) said because if I said it, it's because I felt it...but I think that the fewer words out of the mouth now, all the better"
