Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos looking forward to Jupp Heynckes reunion

    http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/2011/05/23/2500068/bayern-munichs-toni-kroos-looking-forward-to-jupp-heynckes

Kroos better get back on track under Heynckes. Even Löw who acutally likes him told the press that he has regressed in the last few months. The competition in the national team isn't getting any weaker.

Besides Gomez, Müller has been the Bayern player of the season for me. You would have expected the second season syndrome to kick in, considering his young age and especially after the huge number ot matches he had in his legs and the WC, in which he shone. But after a short slump at the beginning of the season, he got back on track and was deservedly voted in the team of the season again.

Müller really impresses me. He's a special player for many reasons.

    I will. Ale

Over there at Transfermarkt.de, everyone is dreaming of a Götze - Özil - Müller attacking midfield in the national team. They've named it GÖTZILLER even. Smile

the medias whistle it all over the town

rafinha will join bayern, that means lahm will swithc to the left side, which is a good thing for lahm and for die mannschaft

havent seen much from rafinha, but he was quite good for schalke, better than nothing, but worse to srna

now lets buy neuer, an centre back and some kind of versatile attacker

yeah finally its official, NEUER joins bayern, he gets a 5 year contract, rafinha got 3 years

18 millions for neuer plus some possible bonus bills to pay

the new team take finally some form

    --------------------neuer

    rafinha----xxxx-----xxxxx------lahm

    ------schweinsteiger-tymo/kroos

    robben----müller-------ribery

    ------gomez

    bench:
    alaba??
    klose??
    olic
    petersen
    gustavo
    vanbuyten
    contento
    breno
    pranjic

the bench is pretty weak in my eyes

we need an versatile attacking midfielder (why the hell we sold ekici, i dont get it), and 1 world class defender, better would be two, we dont have the time to develop the likes of boateng and badstuber, i dont care how promising they look for the future

but there is simply no player on the market, so i have to live with it^^

You sold Ekici because he didn't want to rot on the bench.

Boateng would do you good, he'd be a considerable upgrade in the central defence already, and he is still young can improve further. Badstuber stagnated last season and needs to get back on track.

Boateng an Vidal and your first XI is pretty much set. It would be very strong, even in the CL context. The only problem is the injury proneness of some of your key players.

i dont think that we need vidal, kroos is the better player

agree on ekici, but he would have been a great sub, he had a great season

i have hopes that badstuber and boateng can shine with a new balanced system, with the vangaal system even nesta at his peak would have had some problems Very Happy

Kroos can not be compared to Vidal, who is considerably stronger defensively and would be an upgrade to Tymo. He was one of the league's best players, again that is. Kroos has been stragnating lately and needs to make the next step. He'd be an alternative to Schweinsteiger rather than his partner in the centre, especially against strong teams. It remains to be seen what Heynckes plans for him are though.

Man City and Leverkusen aren't willing to sell though. You probably need to add some cash. Rummenigge said that you'll be done by June 20th, no transfers after that.

when i look at your point, your right about vidal

bayern should play with 3 midfielders, we played the whole season with 2 CM, in the modern game thats simply not good enough, you really cant rate müller as midfielder, its far too attacking and very hard to keep control of the midfield

    ---schweini--vidal (tymo)

    ------kroos

then we would have plenty of options in our attack, the bayern board already mentioned that there will be more rotations in the starting line up

You'd definitely be more flexible and would have more options. Heynckes wants Vidal, he must know why.

No Bayern team without Müller though. He is a very special, unique player. There is simply no one like him.

You can't have Vidal! He's got at least one more season with Bayer, at least according to Rudi...

For the sake of competition in the Bundesliga and Bayer Leverkusen's CL campaign, I hope you're right. But on the other hand, let's be realistic here. Vidal's contract in Leverkusen ends next year (June 2012), this is basically your last chance to cash in, as he won't extend his contract. So it's probably better to sell him now and use the money to strengthen the already pretty good squad, with or without Vidal. You have to think long term.

Lars Bender is very, very talented, he was actually always regarded as slightly more talented than his twin brother Sven, who has become a key player of the Meisterschaft winning Dortmund side and a German international already. Maybe it's about time to put your trust in him and make him a starter, and use the funds to strengthen your squad elsewhere.

Very true... we have been interested in Gokhan Inler, who would make the PERFECT replacement for Vidal, even if Inler is more likely to move to Napoli... On the other hand, Vidal could indeed go to Napoli himself, which would certainly clear up Inler for us. And, yes, I think that it is high time for Bender to come into the spotlight... or maybe even Ballack has one more quality season in him!

Good things could arise from either scenario...

Toni Kroos must first leave Bayern Munich before he does great things for Germany

maybe hes right or not, the new season will show it

against austria he was very good in the first half, in the 2nd half he made stupid passes which ended in losing possession

for bayern i think schweinsteiger-kroos is too lightweight, but he can work in a 3men midfield

    ----tymo/gustavo/vidal-schweini
    ---------kroos

leverkusen is playing the same formation

    -vidal/bender-rolfes/ballack
    -----augusto

but thats müllers position, müller is not a midfielder, thats the plus of kroos, in this position kroos can add more stability into the midfield, schweini and kroos can also switch positions during a game

theres a new problem, where should müller play, this guy wont get benched, hes too good, thats for sure, well jupp is an rotation type, we will see

FC Bayern history lesson part 25:

"Which is the least successful testimonial match ever?" tweets Matthew Britton. "Has one ever been done at a loss to the player and club?"

    [...]
And take Johan Cruyff's farewell fixture for Ajax against Bayern Munich. You might think the result doesn't matter in a testimonial and, by and large, you'd be right, but what about when the team you invite turn up and give you a proper shoeing?

"The German champions wanted to show their Dutch counterparts something after earlier defeats and not being welcomed at Schiphol Airport," writes Dave G Boham. "They even had to sleep at a sub-par hotel. After jeers from the crowd, they showed their hosts something. Three goals were disallowed during the 8-0 hammering dished out by the Bavarians. The Ajax players just wanted to have a good time. In 2006, Bayern apologised."
