I can't stand friendlies so was pleased to see this on.

Doumbia (scored 50 in 64 for Young Boys Shocked ) is making his debut for CSKA and has looked the best player so far - good feet as well as pace and muscle, I wonder if EPL, La Liga and Serie A clubs will regret not making a move for him.

Him and Vagner Love is just about the paciest front 2 you're likely to see - Tosic and Honda playing too.

Pretty even game but too many shots from distance.

On ESPN if anyone is interested - 0-0 at HT.

Horrendous fuck ups from Vasili Berezutski and Akinfeev give the former an OG lol!

1-0 Spartak with 17 mins to play.

    Ignashevich 1-1.

Surely one of the best CB's for footballing ability with a great free-kick.

I didn't notice his footballing ability but he was very impressive defensively when we played them few seasons ago, how did he perform today(free kick aside)?

He was decent enough - there were rumours during the week that he might be going to SPartak but I think that was just dirty tricks.

31 now so unlikely to get a really big move but he was decent but not great today.

He usually hammers free-kicks Kolodin style but this was a curler.

Don't lose any sleep if u draw Spartak in the CL - CSKA could be a half decent outside bet for Europa League.

Hey Pierre, are most Russian PL games fast paced in nature?

Danny was awesome against Rubin. Ale
