Milito also won the player of the year award, the first time one club has won all 5 awards.

Apparently final award was close, but UEFA hasn't released coaches' votes. Will try to get it tomorrow, but no promises. Got to talk to the Butragueno again. Undoubtedly the nicest Vulture in football.

Did you speak to Gary Lineker? I've just found out he is the official ambassador for this season's London final.

No not Lineker, but he took over from Butragueno who was last year's ambassador. Hope to catch a couple of Europa League people tomorrow. Apparently Benitez has reneged on agreement with Liverpool and Hodgson is not happy.
