It's all a load of bollocks, read my reaction in the Milan thread with the newspaper pieces. It's nonsense, even Seedorf has refuted the incident!

Allright I didn't read it sorry! The Dutch VI was eager enough to take it over without thinking about it...

They are SO "glad" Seedorf is doing a "bad" job now at Milan... because then "we" are all right why he is not any more selected for the Oranje squad, and why he is the least popular player in Holland....!

Roma were fantastic today - L'Aeroplanino is back - he has been returned to Italian football <Ale>

They are playing the best football in Europe at the moment, fantastic movement and zonal play, incredible technique.

Aeroplanino's goal was FANTASTIC - It reminds us of his best. Great control, great finish, great strength. It is also magnificent to see Totti resembling his best forms. He was unlucky not to score today - especially from Montella's cross, but his assists and approaches were excellent. The cross to Montella that led to Rosi's goal was great, and there was a great combination early with Perrotta that provided a great save from De Lucia.

If Totti and Perrotta are men on form, then hey, what about DE ROSSI???? He has been superb this season, he leads the future of our nation, our hopes, he is a pure COMPLETE central midfielder, a MINIBEEST hee hee. Perrotta's goal symbolised his qualities - a great tackle to turn defence into attack, and a great ball through to Perrotta. <Ale> His passes and vision are excellent, his work ethic and committment 110%, he is strong in the tackle, he scores GREAT goals.

Roma could and SHOULD hve won by more, De lucia makes an INCREDIBLE save from Aquilani, before then Aquilani scores a great finish from Faty's ball for 4--0.

    Roma <Ale>

Look - For Italy, it is great, they are providing us De Rossi and Aquilani, for France they are maturing this excellent Faty and Mexes, Pizarro will now be given space and an environment to thrive in, L'Aeroplanino ritorno, Perrotta and Totti need to translate club form to the international arena, AND WE STILL HAVE TO SEE OKAKA!!!!

Rome has a bright horizon,... hmm, this leaves Milan looking a bit bleak, for the Milanisti, the Rossoneri and the Rosanero it hasn't been a good weekend! Crying or Very sad

Inspite of the 4-3 scoreline, Inter won VERY comfortably today... were 4-0 up, made 3 quick subs, and took the foot off the pedal... just like in the fiorentina game... hey, we have to make the game interesting!!!!

I guess when you start with so many negative points, your motivation to play is on a low.... the viola better pick up their game, coz they are certainly staring at relegation at the mo.

some nice quotes from Serie A

    “My fault again, eh?”
The one good thing about Adriano being on the bench is that when Inter play poorly he can shake off that scapegoat tag

“Julio Cesar is the first choice goalkeeper. For now that is a definitive decision.”
Roberto Mancini might like to look up the word ‘definitive’ in the dictionary

“My Coach has left out five first team players. He’s completely crazy!”
There’s nothing like a vote of confidence for Daniele Arrigoni right before the Tuscan derby, eh President Aldo Spinelli?

“Arrigoni got everything right and made some brave choices, but he was still lucky. We would’ve won 2-0 if he’d played the squad I wanted.”
Spinelli eats at least a crumb or two of humble pie 90 minutes and a 1-0 win later

“There’s no point denying it, this is not an ordinary game for me. I get very fond of the clubs I am with.”
Alberto Zaccheroni’s return to the Stadio Friuli brought tears to his eyes – especially after the 2-0 defeat

    “It’s all my fault.”
Christian Abbiati points out the obvious after his goalkeeping error in Torino’s loss against the Bianconeri

“It was up to the referee to interpret the situation. I made a mistake in taking off Ruben Olivera, so the officials are allowed to make errors too.”
Walter Novellino takes the philosophical approach to the 1-1 draw at Inter

“The referee was poor tonight, as he had two different criteria for judging the teams. He awarded free kicks against all our strikers, but not when it came to Sampdoria.”
But Mancini proves Calciopoli hasn’t dulled his fondness for blaming the whistleblowers

“I started growing my hair after the injury and decided I wouldn’t cut them until I returned. Then until the first goal. Now I don’t have time to cut them, but my Father keeps telling me to visit a barber.”
Rolando Bianchi takes the Sansom approach to his football career

“We must be particularly careful on the wings against Roma. Let’s be honest here, we have to watch out in the middle, front and back too!”
Mario Beretta keeps Siena calm by shouting “DON’T PANIC!”

“It’s my first game in front of the home fans and the stadium will be packed, but my knees won’t be knocking.”
New Parma boss Stefano Pioli is steady as a rock. Or he has bow legs

“Palermo would need Albert Einstein to win the Scudetto and I’m just Francesco Guidolin.”
E=mc2, but what would Einstein have made of the 4-4-2?

“Do I envy Roberto Mancini? Not really, I just wish I had his hair.”
Roma boss Luciano Spalletti speaks the bald truth.

“I’ve read the Calciopoli verdicts and I have the impression that they tried to cure cancer by using an aspirin.”
Don’t get Lecce boss Zdenek Zeman started on drugs…

“I played Euro 2000 with four extra kilos and I can guarantee you that it felt like I had a washing machine on my shoulders.”
Inter assistant boss Sinisa Mihajlovic gets himself in a spin about Adriano's weight

"I don't know how much Adriano weighs as it really isn’t important. He can weigh 200 kilos or 50 kilos, but the important thing is that he does his duty when he plays.”
Coach Roberto Mancini doesn’t seem so concerned…

“It’s important to remember that the club has made sacrifices to keep players like him [Mauro Camoranesi] and myself – we aren’t paid with a plate of lentils.”
Gigi Buffon is hungry to praise Juventus for their handling of the post-Calciopoli era

    Atalanta 1 - 1 Reggina

    3' S Loria 1 - 0
    6' 1 - 1 G Tedesco

    HT: Torino 0-0 Lazio

Not a classic so far - the players who have real ability (Fiore, Rosina, Ledesma and Pandev) have been vitually non-existent.

Torino need to get a 2nd forward on or this is going to be a painful 2nd half.

    FT Delle Alpi (20,000)

    Torino 0 - 4 Lazio

    49' 0 - 1 T Rocchi
    54' 0 - 2 M Oddo (pen)
    68' 0 - 3 M Oddo
    71' 0 - 4 S Mauri

Torino were dire, Lazio decent in 2nd half.

Oddo won't be credited with the 3rd - its definately an own goal from Di Loreto as the shot was going well wide.

For Lazio Rocchi, Oddo and Mauri were fantastic - Ledesma hit a sublime pass to Rocchi in the build up to the 4th goal but was otherwise quiet and Pandev was dreadful.

Fiore was booed by the Torino fans when he was subbed.

Sort of attacking midfield but to the left (Rosina was attacking mid but slightly to the right). 2 playmakers and 1 striker - I'd say he's got that the wrong way round.

Was it on Setanta? If so my mate should have tapped it for me, so I can watch it mid-week.

Yes - I'd skip the 1st half if I were you.

He was dire - so lazy. Reminded me of Ibrahimovic tonight - loads of talent but produced fuck all.

I had Monaco down in Ligue 1, but then again, I don't watch it, and this was when they still had Chevanton and Nedved was being linked.

Just read the match report on Football Italia, sounds as if Pandev was involved in alot of the action even if he was poor. Apparently he went on a really mazy run first half.

No surprise to hear Zaccheroni has Fiore on the left. It worked to great success for him at Lazio Doh

    ...such a waste.

Torino are not getting anything out of Fiore, why the hell didn't Fiorentina want to keep him? Ridiculous! Both Lazio and Roma could have done something with him as well, although we know for 'political reasons' why he didn't join Roma Wink
