    Malaga sign Enzo Maresca (free agent). Hopefully Pelligrini can make use of him in their midfield. He should add some quality there.

    That's probably indeed the most likely scenario. The problem with keepers though is that you want to let the young ones play and gain experience, not have them sit on the bench every week. There was talk of Gorka but I think that's just silly, signing a guy who could be a starter at most clubs in the Primera, just to sit on your bench and play the odd Copa game. If they do sign someone, it should be in the same mould as Pinto - relatively old, not very good, just adequate.

    Simao I think is past it, or getting that way. A little like Maxi was before he left Atleti. Anything beyond 8m will be a good fee.

    Fernandes I rate, no idea why he gets so little time at Valencia.

    While it's true that Simao hasn't been at his best his replacement in Fran Mérida has been absolutely awful.

    Málaga y Sporting acuerdan el traspaso de José Ángel

    El Málaga ha llegado a un acuerdo con el Sporting para cerrar el traspaso del lateral José Ángel por 3 millones de euros.

    Los dos clubes todavía no han hecho oficial el traspaso pero se espera que esta misma tarde se cierren los últimos flecos de la operación y que José Ángel se incorpore al equipo andaluz en el próximo mercado de invierno.

    José Ángel tiene 21 años y es internacional con las categorías inferiores de la Selección española. En los últimos partidos ha sido titular en el equipo de Manolo Preciado. No obstante, antes el canterazo del Sporting ha tenido una dura competencia con Canella para conseguir la titularidad en el lateral izquierdo del equipo asturiano.

    He is still more of a deeplying option a la Cigarini allthough he hasn't been too much of an succes. It is about time Sevilla went away from the 4-4-2. Perhaps a 4-3-3 with Annan-Renato/Cigarini-Zokora and Perotti-Fabiano/Kanoute/Negredo-Navas.

    i thought the sheiks were going to spend some real money to at least get some of the better players in la liga to malaga and have them bolted up the league table in no time, then start trying to get some of the better players in Europe there.

    that really hasn't been the case, they haven't spent much but are bringing in some good players.

    Will a Sheikh please take over Valencia, Pleases

    Apparently Malaga have agreed to deals for Sergio Asenjo and Ignacio Camacho. Two more good players. Malaga have been sh!t for ages so it's impossible to turn it around but now they have Pellegrini and presumably that will give them some stability from a managerial standpoint. And now they are starting to build a team as well.

    Apparently they are still haggling over the price for this move. But Ignacio Camacho has been sold out right to Malaga now and Sergio Asenjo is moves there on loan until the end of the season...
