Luckily we were awarded a penalty after a foul on Bendtner. Fabregas converts.

Bendtner realizes he cannot actually shoot so focuses on falling over in appropriate fashion.

Cesc acts like a grade A c**t trying to get player sent off (you're at home against Huddersfield with 5 mins to go and a penalty, what more do you want ya wanker) and then does a Ronaldo penalty to score Rolling Eyes

At least Fabregas got booked when he acts like a c**t again. A small amount of karma. Used to quite like Cesc but he is quite clearly a dickhead.

Yes, Bendtner dived for Arsenal's penalty and Fabregas took that penalty in the manner of a cheat and a coward. Given that he was booked for a foul in the last few minutes of the game, he was lucky to stay on the pitch considering the amount of whingeing he did.

Arshavin was livelier and Bendtner had a good game. Eboue was good going forward. Apart from that, it was all rather abject. Diaby and Denilson are just so ineffective.

Apparently 7 out of our 8 defeats this season have started when Koscielny and Squillaci have started together. I'm placing the blame firmly on the latter.

How is stuttering your run up either a cheat or a coward?

It isn't good seeing him asking for the player to be sent off. The amount of inconsistency here is astounding though.

Has there ever been a team with a worse attitude than the current Arsenal team? we are going nowhere with this lot If Wenger doesn't sort them out. A game that should have been a walk in the park turned out to be quite a tricky affair and it was all down to lack of application. After a bright start which saw us took the lead, we just sort of relaxed and played as if the game was already in the bag - not the 1st time this happened and not the 1st time we ended up in a very uncomfortable situation. We can blame the players all we want, but at the end of the day most of the blame should go to the manager IMO. As I said, this attitude issue is nothing new, it has been going on for a long time. No one else is going to address it other than the main man in charge.

I'm quite disappointed in a number of our squad players(Denilson, Eboue, Squillaci, Gibbs etc). For whatever reason they are not doing enough at the moment, surely they should be using these sort of games to try and claim a stake in the team. Nothing is coming off Arshavin at the moment, but I'm quite pleased with his effort in the past 2 games. He could be an important player for us if he finds form soon.

Another injury to an inform player(Nasri) Grr

I think that penalty takers should be obliged to simply run and kick the ball - I don't think any stuttering should be allowed, because it is bad to watch and contrary to good sportsmanship. That said, I don't think Fabregas even stuttered in his run-up today - I think he stopped moving forward twice, procrastinating, all but begging the Huddersfield goalkeeper to his knees before daring to kick the ball.

    ok

Also he was so scared of facing Huddersfield for the last 5 mins with their full complement of players he had to try and get them sent off by complaining and diving. Cowardly little turd.

I think the PL have rules stating that you have to play the strongest team whereas the FA cup doesn't. It makes sense in that if you play a weak team in the league you're effecting the whole league whereas in the cup its just your own club.

They made 10 changes for a final day of the season match against relegation battlers Hull. That has a bigger impact on the league than anything McCarthy/Holloway has done.
I was only commenting on this FA cup game. But in theory I do believe that ManU should have been equally fined for that match. The double standards are quite disgraceful.

ok Stuttering a penalty run should not be allowed and should be retaken. It is cowardice and poor technique.

Arsenal had a player sent off for denying a goal scoring opportunity so why shouldn't the opposition. Its right that the captain should point out this inconsistency to the referee, its not like Arsenal had multiple player shouting down the referee.

It was not a goal-scoring opportunity in the Arsenal case because the player attempting to get to the ball was Nicklas Bendtner Ale

We seem to be getting plenty of penalties and conceding plenty of penalties this season, and the same with red cards. This one looked like a fair call from where I was, although if I was the defender I would probably have taken the risk of letting Bendtner go for the ball.

I actually thought players weren't allowed to stutter during their run up now, but maybe they changed that rule again.

Straight after the penalty the ref gave Huddersfield a free-kick on the edge of our box (in the centre), when they had been attacking down their right flank. Does anyone know what that was for? I'm guessing an off the ball foul but I didn't notice anything at the time.

1-1 in the City match, with Dzeko scoring his first for the club.

    West Ham - Burnley
Notts Co./Man City - Aston Villa
Stoke City - Brighton & Hove Albion
    Birmingham - Sheffield Wednesday
Leyton Orient - Arsenal (nice local derby, and another very kind draw for us)
    Everton/Chelsea - Reading
Man Utd - Crawley Town (another tough draw for Man Utd as well - can Neville be trusted for this one?)
    Fulham/Spurs - Bolton/Wigan

Hutton's just conceded a penalty against Fulham. Scored by Murphy.

Another penalty and a red card for Dawson! lol!

Fulham got a shot in that was saved by Gomes, but the ref brought it back and awarded the penalty because Dawson had tugged back on the shirt. Murphy sticks it in the other corner this time. 2-0

3-0 now. Good thing for Spurs actually, they can focus on the league and their upcoming tie with Milan. Redknapp should be smart and ask his players to just cruise for the rest of the game, save energy rather than trying a very unlikely comeback.
